How can you compare an DE to a inside LB? Also to say this kid has no numbers which many are saying is stupid he has forced 9 turnovers which is tied for first in FBS, plus he leads his team in tackles which is one best D's in the nation, on the only undefeated team in the nation. As for the Heisman, it is an award with no tangible criteria that's the problem.

Eifert is dominant. No one in FBS has been able to cover him 1on1. Go look at his run blocking kid is a beast. Prime example Cierre Woods 62 yard run against Oklahoma. Eifert blocks two sooners at once to make that TD possible. He has been doing things like that all year in the run game for ND. His receving dominance garners lots of attention from opposing teams which helps the rest of the offense and he has made clutch catches all season. BTW most career receptions for an ND TE.
