Will definitely be Barry Alvarez...No way he returns just for one game..I think Alvarez takes over full time once again while giving up his AD duties..If so, great news for Wisconsin..

66 yr old Alvarez will DEFINITELY coach again?

well, if 20% chance means definitely, then you are right,

uhmmm, WRONG

they will hire someone and Barry will go back to the AD duties,

it's a one game deal to coach because the seniors and captains on the team asked him to,

and he does not want Bielema there

No, this is a one game thing.  Apparently, he has already contacted Chris Peterson from Boise St and they are meeting as early as Monday.  There are some other names starting to surface as well.  Barry said in an interview he is looking for a proven head coach that has had success already...

how about this for a quality fukking source:

NO CHANCE CHRIS PETERSON GOES TO THE BIG 10 AS HIS OFFENSE WON'T WORK IN THE COLD WEATHER OF NOVEMBER.

thank you.

Now that's funny!  You do realize it snows 2-3 times more in Boise than Madison in Oct/Nov and the temperature is about 2-3 degrees different...not exactly frozen tundra vs. the desert for a comparison.

I can't imagine Peterson would stay put all these years just so he could go to Wisconsin....

Gridironguy, you need to learn to disagree with someone like a human being. You come off as the biggest fool.

No offense.

Im guessing Chryst. Pitt gets screwed again.

He has a relationship with Alvarez. On the Whiskey staff 2 different times.

Born and bred in Whiskey.

You are a real douchebag...I said he was "contacted" - never did I say he was going to Wisconsin.  Read before you spout off like a fool.

Probably not...but I wonder if he starts to look more now that Boise will be headed to the Big East.  Maybe it changes things for him...maybe not.  Guy is a great coach regardless of where he coaches

I wondered the same thing..........with 3-5 trips a year to the east, in a deteriorating conf. that could lose any auto-bids to anything............I figured going to Cal would be a logical choice since he's west coaster, but fact is he could've had any # of jobs over the L3-4 years.

Laughing at gridiron guy. He always jumps in people's faces for no reason. Just because Wisconsin contacted Peterson doesn't mean he'll go there. Take it easy for fux sake. Also- how could you not realize the weather in Boise is very similar to what it would be coaching Wisconsin.

Very true MUGG, no doubt he can almost pick any job he wants excluding a few schools.  No doubt he has had plenty of offers over the years.  I could see him staying on the west coast as well.

Barry wants a coach devoted to power running.  Stop and think.  What head coach fits that moa.
