#5 Posted: 12/3/2012 5:41:44 PM Hilton has posted lines as well... can view them at http://www.vegasinsider.com/college-football/odds/las-vegas/?s=2055
3rd column is the Hilton... LVH is the best measure for where lines will be set all over Vegas...

#7 Posted: 12/3/2012 5:51:01 PM i generally don't endorse betting a Big East team against an SEC team... but i am thinking about Louisville getting 15 or so against Florida... i've seen enough from Bowling Green and UL-Lafayette to know that Louisville isn't "out of their league" in this game...
what do you think, Book?

#8 Posted: 12/3/2012 5:59:30 PM Bookmaker lines are up, and they are very sharp... already have NIU and L'Ville down to 13.5, and K St is only 7... UCLA at (-1)... had to jump on that one cuz it will most likely go up...
gonna have to shop for a couple lines on other games...

#9 Posted: 12/3/2012 6:00:37 PM something to think about.....I kinda love the Aggies too
Fully aware you probably don't put too much stock into this kinda crap........
OU might get a few guys back (earlier injured)....and with a few Srs like Landry Jones playing their last game.... Combined ....with that Johnny Football.....a (according to his parents) a wild-azz guy that really needs structure and has to stay busy.....a FRESHMAN...off a 2 week or so Heisman Trophy ride........careful *could easily work the other way...Sooners a no show and get steam rolled.....just something to consider
I like USC too...and will hammer that one I think.... *new DC will badly want to shut down GT ....if MB back should be 10+ or so.....maybe more

you bet....Gators play to their opponents level it seems *don't forget....Louisville HC Strong could very easily take another job....but maybe would still coach here anyway ???

#11 Posted: 12/3/2012 6:11:12 PM I don't trust USC to cover that number. Their D Line is not great. Will G Tech give a good effort? USC never plays option team. Take USC ML if you have to bet them, G Tech probably can't win the game, but USC will leave the backdoor cover open if the game is not a blowout. |

maybe.......but recall PJ / Ga Tech stinks in bowl games ....he's 0-4 SU / ATS......extra prep time for opponents D is the story....2008-2010 scored 24 pts total....vs LSU.....Iowa.....and AF *one positive for GT?...they lost at Sun Bowl LY to Utah 30-27.....usually when a losing team returns to same bowl....'play on'

#15 Posted: 12/3/2012 7:00:33 PM bet the over in the Holiday Bowl... historically goes over (in San Diego), and with those two teams, there is nothing to suggest that trend won't hold up...
i will be tempted to take OU against A&M... i was originally leaning the other way, but with OU getting maybe 4 to 6 points, in a series that OU has typically owned... feel like getting points in that game is the way to go...

#16 Posted: 12/3/2012 7:01:46 PM i said i was thinking about A&M... but in that case, it depends on the number... and more than anything, i am thinking about fading them...
LSU is the only SEC team i am tempted to bet on, but it's a bet against a crappy ACC team more than anything...

#17 Posted: 12/3/2012 7:09:15 PM So CFU delayed their Bowl ban until next year so that they can play Ball State in the Beef O'Brady's Bowl?
As a member of the Big East next year they could have possibly been battling for a BCS Bowl bid. |

#20 Posted: 12/4/2012 12:59:03 AM NIU?....ain't gonna jump on them yet...the smart thing to do might be to see what happens coaching wise.... as in how many coaches go with him....the entire staff goes your bet ain't looking so good...just a few?...and O & D prep pretty much the same?......who knows maybe even better as players are motivated to show the departing HC they don't need his azz anyway... *although an auto-fade on Fla St might be in order....holy crap I hate that team......I would LOVE to see NIU beat their azz
-----------------------------------------------------------------
yeah 29.....a stupid move by UCF... with Ohio St on their schedule.....a remote chance they go undefeated anyway....(but played the Buckeyes tough)....and shoulda/coulda beat Mizzou....and Tulsa just has their number it looks like..... But looking back.. an early loss to Ohio St...then running the table prolly woulda put them in the Orange Bowl....I guess they thought the risk was worth it....and that they would get a better bowl... *B-O-B pay-out is only $550,000 or so...and is for CUSA #4 team I believe...
*with HC O'Leary shaky in bowls so far...looks like (maybe) a nice spot to play Ball St... .........

#21 Posted: 12/4/2012 1:17:34 AM TCU just has a recent history with this HC of coming prepared in Bowl Games, Rose Bowl 2011 and 2 years prior come to mind, and MSU is as low as you can get since opening day over Bose they are regressing. Boise would beat them if they'd rematch it. TCU got robbed vs Oklahoma, and laid notice to Texas they were to be reckoned with. TCU program knows the importance of winning that last bowl game This one I figure they win by two-three TDs. (?) |

There's no animosity between mgt, players and the departing coach. They'll play the way they have been, and what's to stop it?

#24 Posted: 12/4/2012 4:07:43 AM QL........you might be right about TCU....I like the Frogs here too...just not sure which way the line will move...PR wise...it 'should' be closer to pick 'em....so it should drop theoretically..................
Spartans have the ability .......to shut down TCU's run game that might cause problems.....Frogs will have the usual (vs Big 10) advantage of playing on 12/1.....Sparty 11/24....1st lean would be to UNDER...
But....Frogs are very young and might be super fired up here....maybe good idea to check Mich St local news to gauge the 'level of interest'....this is not the way they wanted the season to wind up.........they might get punished ....if line drops to 3 or less I think I will hit it for sure.....
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
like those MUGG...> holy crap they took Roger man.......
Washington esp....would imagine they get some guys back from injury.....seems like about half the team is lost every year....Tree / Wisky is more interesting than I thought...the strength of Wisky appears to be their DEFENSE wtf.....weakness?.....their OL..... *ranking #94 in TFL allowed....and 73rd in sacks allowed.....#103 on 3rd down this not boding well vs Tree's #1 D....in TFL and sacks....(by a good margin).....#13 on 3rd down
In Wisky's 5 losses.....their running game got shut down........numbers in parentheses are what their opponents D av giving up rushing.......
1.5/rush and 35 yds vs Oreg St (4.0/131) 0.5 and 19 vs Mich St (3.3/99) 1.4 and 56 vs Nebraska (4.8/195) 3.7 and 158 vs Penn St (3.6/129) 3.7 and 206 vs Ohio St (3.6/116)
note > Stanford D gives up 2.8/rush and 88 yards/g....vs stronger offenses too........uh-oh
A possible problem with a play on Tree here...is the fact that Wisky has come out here the last 2 years and left......a LOSER......not a believer in the 'DUE THEORY'....but in bowls an angle to respect
Also.....the Wisky D...stopped most every opponent well short of their average.....not a gauntlet of offensive juggernauts yes.....but garbage time yards to Nebraska (477) in that last game ....is about it Another UNDER play maybe......... *and also this time the Big 10 team has the 'lay-off edge...as Tree last played 11/24 ...........

The problem with playing NIU.....if any is a MASSIVE talent advantage the Criminoles enjoy......FSU's DL/LB are (among) the most talented in the nation....... *just finished my Power Rankings for bowls...looks like Fla St is (about) the nation's 12th best team... Huskies (arguably) about #38......behind Boise .....Utah St.....and Fresno...just ahead of Louisville *line is about where it should be....I would make it 12' or so if I was taking action.......
note > the team they just beat ('ranked' 17th or whatever).....Kent St....comes in at #53 or so
