The guys screaming fix for the BYU game, answer me these questions:

1) The BYU player that fumbled the punt at the end of the game caught a TD pass earlier in the quarter on 3rd down. Why wouldn't he have dropped that TD pass?

2) Why would you rely on a college kicker to make a 35 yard FG if you were fixing a game?

3) At a minimum, the Idaho coach and the BYU punt returner were in on the fix. But BYU used 3 different punt returners in the game, so there would no guarntee that the guy who fumbled the punt would be in on the fix. So maybe you need some other guys from BYU in on the fix too. So, why wouldn't they have missed the FG to go up 40. They could have shanked it or botched the snap?

4) If all these guys are in on the fix, don't you think there would be some suspicious betting noticed by Vegas? Like numerous people who have never bet big on a game coming to the window to place thousand dollar wagers on Idaho? After the third such wager, alarm bells would go off...

5) There were 8 fumbles in the game, 4 by each time, with 5 fumbles lost. Do you think maybe the weather conditions made holding on to the ball a little difficult?

yes that was a classic, suck in more money at half time than fuck you in the ass at the end. Has fixing written all over it. Same with Tennesse, I remember people was saying put more money down at half time bya well respected capper and look at what happens.

It isn&#x27;t normal, but it doesn&#x27;t mean fix.If the BYU punt returner fumbled on purpose, then that would be a fix. Kicking the FG after the fumble, means either the coach wanted to 1)  Make the score more respectable2)  Cover the spread3)  Give his kicker some more work for some reasonWanting to cover a spread (in this situation) may be a little shady, but it doesn&#x27;t mean fix.  I remember Urban Meyer calling a timeout at the end of the game to kick a FG to cover a 20 point spread vs Flor St a few years ago.

there&#x27;s a slew of ncaab on, you should jump on it !!!as far as the so called fixes - it is possible. It&#x27;s been known on some colleges that coaches are well aware of point spreads and on purpose will cover or not cover to reward their boosters...Boosters has a lot of influence in games in college, in this case it can might as well be game breaking for gamblers/players like us....

I actually wish all coaches would try to cover the spread. Would make betting a lot more predictable. I hate it when all I need is a few more points but the winning team sits on the ball.

Now before you go off and say ridiculous things like oh you must of lost, Truth is I didnt even acknowledge that this game even existed until I started reading threads all over the net about it.

I think he had his kicker attempt that kick for one reason
to cover the spread for the alumni to make some money.

B) that wasnt done to cover the spread

But the coach did the alumni a favor, Urban Myer did it 6 years ago to endear himself to the florida Alumni when he first took over.

Remember the 50 yard field goal attempt when the line was 30 and they were up by 28 with 2 seconds to go in the game?

There is no explanation for you.No matter WHAT HAPPENS in these games you retards will cry fix.In the BYU example the coach may have wanted to cover the spread.  Just like the Hawaii kid last night driving the length of the court with 5 seconds left up 11 and making the layup to cover.  That is their Perogative and certain individuals may feel like for whatever reason unnecessarily scoring or "covering".That is Not the same as "fixing" a game or &#x27;point shaving&#x27;, it has to do with individuals doing random shit that occurs in every single game.

And by the way, Idaho NEVER covers.  One of the safest bet-againsts there is, week-in/week-out.  So that was quite an accomplishment for them.  lol.

Check out my post #9...  I make the exact same points you make.    Basically, trying to cover the spread is not the same as fixed. ..I even brought up the Urban Meyer situation. We are actually both wrong on the details.  It was Florida/Miami in 2008.
