Lost my first "Best Bet" of the year this week with ULL as they looked like the San Diego Chargers in the 2nd half. That's football. On to this weekend.
Georgia -26
- UGA will cover this in the 1H. UK has packed it up and Joker is probably already looking for a new job. UK is very thin at QB because of injuries. UK will be lucky to get the ball past the 50 in this one.
Boise State -28
- Boise is starting to look like Boise. UNLV is awful and I don't expect Boise to let off the gas in this one.
South Carolina +4
- Spurrier has owned UF and this is a must win for USC. Florida is going to be riding high on that #2 ranking, while USC is going to come in with a chip on their shoulder and something to prove. I think Lattimore is going to play more than people think and it could be the ball coach talking an injury that is not too significant. I like the points in this one....proved to be big time last week for the Cocks!
Texas AM +3
- My gut says LSU, but I'm still not sold on this team on the road. The fact that this game is a noon kick, I think favors A&M. I really like what Manzell has done this year and think this guy is a superstar in the making. I'll take the home dog in this spot, with Bama up next for the Tigers.
Louisville -7 (Best Bet)
- After 3 straight road games Lville finally has a home game. This team continues to impress and they have a legit shot at going undefeated. They beat up on USF pretty good last year on the road and I see this team rolling again this week as USF has struggled to hang onto the ball this year. This could be one of my bigger plays of the weekend.
Troy -6
- FIU has beaten Troy two years in a row, so I like the revenge factor here for Troy. FIU has beaten bad every road game this year and Troy is pretty tough at home. I look for Troy to get above .500 on the season this weekend.
