College Football Week 6

Question

Another 2-1 week last week. This brings me 4-2 ATS overall +2.70 units with juice included obviously. Going to play more games that usual this week but these are my leans so far.

Leans:
Kent State -3
WVU+7
Florida/LSU under 1st half
Miami Florida +14 ( If the line goes back up)
Kansas State 1st half and possibly game
North Texas +12

Going to be short on time in the coming days as school starts to intensify. I apologize for promising write-ups and not delivering in previous weeks. For every play this week I'll be providing a small write-up to explain my reasoning. I can't make the write-ups in the past because I simply don't have the time.

Kent State-3 220 to win 200.
First and foremost I'd like to thank JDNmoney for bring up Kent State to my attention. This is a great situation for Eastern Michigan as they come home off a bye week after a respectable performance against michigan state. Kent State comes off a nail biting at home against Ball state at the tune of 45-43. Eastern michigan will not be able to run the ball against Kent State and will be forced to throw the ball. It doesn't really matter if they start sophmore Tyler Benz or senior Alex Gillet. Both QB's have passing completions % under 50 percent and half of Gillet' TD has been from garbage time; the game against Ball State. Kent State' Spencer Keith isn't too impressive either with 3 TD, 1 INT and with a completion % of 55.6. But I won't be expecting him to do too much in this game. Kent State will stick to their running game and gnash a weak E mich defense that gives up 301.5 rushing yards a game and 6.2 yards per rush. This will allow Kent State to control the clock, possession, and open up for play action pass.

The line was 44.5 2 days ago and now it&#x27;s 42.5. Based off value I might just lay off. Although I still think that the first team to 20 wins this game. This should be an old SEC slugfest.

I totally agree. This game is going to be all about ball control, long drives, and minimizing turnovers.  Personally I think LSU wins, as they just have a knack for winning this types of games.

Another stat I forgot to put out there regarding the Kent State vs E Michigan game. Kent State is 44.23 percent on converting on 3rd downs this year which is ranked 43rd among D1 football teams. E Mich is 17.50% on converting on 3rd downs this year, which is ranked DEAD LAST among D1 football teams.
