Stanford +8 All they've done past 3 years (granted Andrew Luck at QB) is beat SC, and USC is 0-2 ATS. One score at home is do-able. SC is slower on the road, and will need a great O-line performance, but this o-line is younger, and less talented than previous linemen...
The regular starting center the last three years stayed out with a sprained ankle. He should've played with it taped up; the freshman who replaced him was completely dominated. KIFFIN is a COMPLETE IDIOT !!!
He never called for a scramble out of pocket; never called for a fullblock help to block the nose grd and safety blitz; he stupidly called a run play UP THE MIDDLE on 1st and 10 with 50 sec to go in the game and no timeouts. He looked like a beachbum idiot with that visor on, and besides looking like a tennis frat brat geek, he looked like a deer in headlights. NO FG kicker at all !!!!
STANFORD plays differently on the road, but their defense was superb. They will lose a pair of games, but they looked better prepared than SC on defense which surprised me. SC was not a TOP 5 team. After smacking pads at the line of scrimmage they got no penetration and arm tackled and dove at the line--signs of being overwhelmed.
Oh well, one rich girl school loses to another. So what? SC was overrated and exposed. Kiffin is a joke.
Alabama and LSU know how to win games defensively even if their offenses stink.
