1st off guys i'm 2-7 on the season. And i decided i'm not gonna do a ton of write-ups this year so here' why i like rutgers tomorrow
Sunday i came on here to get the Denver score and i by chance looked at week 3 of cfb matchups by accident and i saw Rutgers 10 pt dog? Now depending on where you play they're 7 or 8. I'll admit i lost $660 on the USF-Nevada game saturday as they let daniels throw deep on them all day. But unless this line keeps dipping i'm taking rutgers for a grand
USF has had to fly basically across the country for a game vs a conference foe on a short week. You go from the Reno altitiude to playing in Tampa on a thursday night. I was looking through my phil steele book and ever since Skip Holtz took his talents to South Florida they haven't been as impressive at home. Go look it home the only teams they destroy at home are non bcs schools. Hell the last time USF has beaten up a bcs school at home was Louisville in Leavitts final year by 12 as an 11.5 pt fave
Rutgers has dominated USF though i'll admit that was with Schiano there and now he's actually in Tampa by coincidence. Coach Flood's team has been solid not great. Maybe Sjip Holtz on a thursday night stage gets his big win. Maybe BJ Daniels has another great game. Hell i'm 2-7 -$2,330 so what do i know? I'm going with Rutgers. Will they win? IDK but with the travel for USF etc i'll go with Rutgers for $1,100 provided this line doesn't continue to drop. Your thoughts are welcome gentlemen

I like the USF defense. Rutgers is no Nevada in terms of offense or offensive style, thats why Nev has been somewhat successful as they are hard to defend due to uniqueness (not so much anymore). Rutgers has definitely taken a step back from Schianos teams.
Bol, but I am on the Bulls to shut down RU

well gc i don't bet NFL myself. I hope we can win but the Packers struggle with big wr's and the Bears have Jeffery and Marshall. Our D sucks. I hope we win but Cutler might've wrote a check his punk ass can't cash

I'm laying off this one, but here's a bit more info on this game:
Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - South Florida was a one-point underdog at Nevada this past Saturday and its backers were not too happy when the team trailed by 11 points with just over three minutes left in the game.
The Bulls were inside their own territory facing a 2nd-and-10 when B.J.Daniels connected with Chris Dunkley on a 52-yard touchdown strike. They failed to connect the 2-point conversion, so the Wolf Pack still led by five.
The Bulls were 92 yards away from the end zone when they got the ball back with 1:46 left on the clock. It took five plays for them to go the first 36 yards but just one play for the final 56 as Daniels hit Andre Davis for the game- winning score.
Nevada had one chance left and reached South Florida's 43-yard line, but Cody Fajardo fumbled the ball and that was all she wrote. It was a tough loss for those folks who wagered on the Wolf Pack, especially after Nevada led 21-6 at the end of the first quarter.
At least the Wolf Pack know it should get back in the win column with Northwestern State coming to Reno this Saturday. For South Florida, there is no guarantee a third straight victory is on its way even though the Bulls return home for their first Football Bowl Subdivision contest played at Raymond James Stadium this season.
A TOUGH TASK AHEAD
The round trip from Tampa to Reno and back to Tampa was the longest the South Florida football team has made since the 1999 contest in San Diego against the Aztecs. Additionally, the Bulls have to come right back this Thursday night to face a Rutgers squad that had the luxury of taking on Howard this past Saturday.
Since coming into the Big East, the Bulls are 0-5 both straight up and against the point spread in Thursday night games after playing the previous Saturday. They were favored in four of those five matchups.
South Florida also is 1-6 SU at home in conference play the last two seasons with the only win coming by a single point over Rutgers as a 10-point favorite. Incidentally, the Bulls were favored in four of those six losses.
This will be the first Thursday night matchup for Rutgers after a Saturday game since 2007 when the Scarlet Knights hosted South Florida. They were getting 1.5 points from the second-ranked Bulls that night and won, 30-27.
In fact, Rutgers has won five of the last six meetings with the only loss coming two years ago by the aforementioned single point. Furthermore, the Scarlet Knights have scored outright victories in three of those five wins and have covered each of the last five contests between the two teams.
Rutgers is currently ranked fourth nationally in run defense, allowing just 41 yards per game on 1.5 yards per carry. It is true the opposition (Tulane and Howard) has been weak, but the Scarlet Knights were expected to be much better against the run this season after allowing close to four yards a carry in 2011.
The offense is less experienced than the defense, but it should put up enough points against a South Florida defense that was on the field for over 90 plays versus Nevada.
These two teams are very evenly matched, but the circumstances surrounding the game easily favor Rutgers. In fact, South Florida coming back to win against Nevada was the best thing that could have happened.
First, the Bulls' players would have come into this game with a chip on their shoulders had they lost to Nevada. Instead, the Scarlet Knights will be facing a team that is more relieved than hungry. Second, the victory increased the number of points South Florida will be giving Rutgers.

Sounds like you're chasing losses from these sentences. Have patience, it's only week 3.

I like the under in Rutgers/USF. Love Rutgers getting that high of a number in a game that is usually pretty close. Rutgers has owned USF in the past, but Schiano is gone now. I like the under tomorrow in this one & will unload my BR on the OVER in the Bears game. Cutler will put up 24 minimum on offense & probably a pick 6 too. Rodgers won't be held under 30 again at home. Bet that.

Agree with your take on Rutgers. Rutgers has one of the better defenses in the Big East. That will be the key. USF offense, in my opinion, will come out flat after an emotional, come from behind win with a shorter week to work with than rutgers. that's my take, I'm far from being any expert.

I noticed under Schiano going back several years, Rutgers would play like crap in their first game or two against whatever chumps and 1-AA teams they played. They would lull you into thinking they might be having a down year, and then BOOM, in their first big game, they would cover.
Who knows if the pattern will hold with a new coach, but basically that right there is why I won't play USF.

I can't back Rutgers after seeing them struggle at Tulane, who got blown out by Tulsa last week. Game is a stay away and maybe we can get a good line or read at halftime.

Thanks Packers! I am always lurking (is that the proper term?) and I decided to make an account. I live in Vegas and bet everyday. Have all the apps that are available to us! Happy to be apart of the fun now! BOL to all tonight!

I've never said any game is easy money Neef. I hate people on here who say this game is a lock. Really? never seen a fumbled snap? Nevsr seen a kickoff out of bounds. Just my 2 cents. Not knocking you Neef
