I have SMU parlayed with the Texas Rangers on 2 plays for what it's worth, and took them at +8.5 and ML +270
- SMUs defense has improved every year under June Jones.
- RG3 kept them in the game and Baylor has regressed defensively every year....there is NO RG3. Baylors secondary returns all of it's starters...ummm...as the 102nd pass efficency defense in 2011 and 118 in pass defense overall.....advantage SMU.
- SMU Zach Line is a stud rushing for 1224 yards and 17tds....and on a June Jones team that's saying alot.
- I just don't believe that Baylor's success was a reflection on the system as much as it was RG3. A QB like Robert is a once in a lifetime gift for most colleges and definately was for Baylor. There are a couple of teams that will feel the loss of their star QB such as Stanford and Wisconsin, however they have a "system" and Baylor had an RG3.
