so I go to go out for dinner last night with my wife and daughter to what i thought was just a simple birthday dinner (i turn 35 on the 8th) and I walk into a room with 30 of my friends surprising me. my wife has now successfully surprised me for my birthday 3 times in 5 year increments, my 25th (stretch escalade and a night out), 30th (she got 15 people to come to Charleston and rent a beach house) and then last night. good times, no coors lights or jack daniels, but a ton of stellas and some random shots. not sure why all birthdays demand "birthday" shots but who am i to turn down such generous offers. hahaha. we went to dinner last night b/c I'll be in new orleans next weekend for a bachelor party, muuuaaahhhaaaahhhaaah..
a very unflattering day yesterday, ending up 5-7. a couple games could have/should have but such is the nature of the beast. never happy about a losing day, but we gamblers have short term memories, so acknowledge and move on. so, let's go.
11-8 ncaa ytd
hate filled rivalry game today, let's peel the onion and see just what we have here. a louisville team with a ton of expectation and a national ranking to go with it, and a kentucky team with a coach on the hot seat and a fan base that doesn't give a shit. Bridgewater getting a lot of hype, but the kid only threw 2 more td's than int's last year, 14/12 and threw at least 1 pick in 9 games. he caught kentucky off guard last year when he came into the game, kentucky knows just what they will be getting today. a qb without his best receiver and an O line that gave up 41 sacks last year, good for 113 nationally. louisvilles offense wasn't exactly a juggernaut last year, averaging just 333.0 YPG. That was good for 96th in the FBS rankings, while their 21.9 PPG was 98th.Rick minter did his best to change the kentucky defense up last year, they got "blowed" out quite a few times, but put it together a bit down the stretch against arron murry and tryler brey. they started to learn how to turn other teams over, They ranked 23rd nationally with 15 interceptions (after just nine the
year before). Kentucky was 4-0 last season when intercepting more than
one pass in a game, and what have we learned already? bridgewater likes to throw picks. kentucky is putting their success on their D line, who minter says their line is just full of grown men, led by senior ends Collins Ukwu and Taylor Wyndham and junior tackles Donte Rumph and Mister Cobble. The Cards ranked 17th nationally last season with 2.67 sacks per game. They tallied six sacks against UK last season, Five of the Cats’ two-deep on the offensive line have never played a college snap. looking like both D lines will have the advantage over both O lines. Establishing the run is more than a cliché in this series. The team that
has won the rushing battle has won the past 16 consecutive meetings.both teams know this and both are going to try to do it. both of these teams are pretty young overall, so i expect some young mistakes throughout. however, louisville is more experienced. i think this will be a hard fought and close game. i also think this game is going to be very sloppy, the weather will be rainy and just gross. i think both teams are going to try to run, run, and run some more. I really want to pull the trigger on kentucky, but i just don't trust them and louisville is the more talented team.

Always a good read pal!....Appreciate picks from cappers like you who give stats and reasons "WHY OR WHY NOT!"....I agree you got a hell of a wife....Hard to find nowadays....I'm on my third....First two were nearly 20 years younger than me and thrived on banging and goobling my person..I ended up abusing Cialis big time and endangering my health....THAT is some great stuff....They gave me surprises like yours did, only mine were divorce papers....Glad no kids involved....So now I marry a woman near my age and the only "heat" I get is from her "hot flashes!"....And last night, after taking it up the poo-shoot,without lube, with Michigan, I treated myself, after having a couple of Miller's light, to 100 mg of Seroquel, a xanax and a half oxy for my lower spine issue.....Now there's a cocktail....Hanging with ya today bud....Good luck and keep up the good work!

I'm not a program could have been any higher than Baylor was last year,
from the very beginning in that thriller with TCU on through to RGIII
winning the heisman. there was a lot of talent on that team,
specifically on offense. so much talent that it can mask just how bad
their defense was. granted, they were on the field a lot as the
by-product of a fast, quick strike offense, but after surrendering a
school record 6,350 yards last season, i'm not sure they want the 8
returning starters they get back. The Bears bring back 6 on offense but
lose their top rusher, top WR and
RG3. RB Granaway accounted for 22 TD's. while RG3 was responsible for 47
TD's, that is a lot to have to replace in game one against an SMU
defense was 2nd in the pass happy Conference USA in total defense and
they bring back 7 starters from that group. Offensively getting zach
line back is huge and they certainly will not be at a disadvantage at qb
in this one as Gilbert gets to show the world it was texas' offense
that was bad, not him. smu is used to this type of offense and they get
a shot to hand it to a big12 school and I think they can. baylor is
still a good team and has talent, but unless your alabama or something
of the like, you just don't walk right out in the 1st game and match the
magic of last season in the midst of losing everything and everyone
that created that very magic. give me these points.

couldnt seem to pull the trigger on smu. i knew florence is a good qb and gilbert was an interception machine. so i was hoping for that to happen. and seeing baylor win ATS since 86 it was hard to follow you bro. but you live to play another day!
