Observations Ohio st / Meyer Florida/Muschamp and more

Urban Meyer proved in 1 game that he is still one of the best coaches in college football. He calls Braxton Miller ,"The most gifted athelete I have ever coached" That includes one Tim Tebow ! Miller threw for 2 TD and ran for 1 and racked up 368 yards of total offense. For a team that went 6-7 last year and ave 24.5 PPG, this is a big step in getting the Buckeyes back to National prominence !

Meanwhile Florida under Will Muschamp struggled to beat a Bowling Green team, that they were favored to beat by almost 30 points. AD Jeremy Foley made a big mistake when he hired Ron Zook, who had never been a head coach, to replace Steve spurrier. He rectified that by replacing Zook with Urban Meyer. Then when Meyer leaves , do to health issues, he replaces him with Will Muschamp, who was never a head coach before, and over looks plenty of qualified excellent coaches. As a gator fan Muschamp looks to me to be lost out there.They are not getting the top recruits anymore and it looks like Florida state is getting them. Foley better keep a watch on muschamp, or he might have another Zook situation, on his hands

Observation #2 Never hire a coach with a mustache ! Frank Spaziani of boston college made some very bad coaching mistakes against miami, yesterday. They are giving up 41 points and they are playing a prevent defense, rushing 3 lineman ! Then trailing by 11 with a few minutes to go , and his team unable to run effectively, he tries a QB sneak against an 11 man line , and gets stuffed. They challenge the call and lose, the play on 3rd down looked like they may have scored, but that one he doesn&#x27;t challenge. He looks like another lost coach  ! he is now 20-20 at BC and again this is first head coaching job ! Work your way up like urban meyer or Al Goden, at miami, before you are give a big time job, your first time out !

good solid win for urban liar but doesnt tell u much.  miami is pretty awful and outmatched in every position on the field.

As a Buckeye, I am happy to have Urban, even if he did coach at Florida!&#xD;&#xA;Weird watching the Bowling Green/Fla game when they showed him coaching each team in the past....

Meyer has turned around Bowling green, his first head coaching job, Utah, where he had an undefeated team, and then 2 National championships at Florida, this looks like #4

He wins over 80% of his games 105-28 82%

That is why I feel a coach should work his way up, before getting a Major program like florida, or Ohio st !!
