First off, good luck to everyone(excluding trolls.  Nobody roots for trolls).  I've had several years of successful college football betting.  I'm here in Vegas, and this year I will put 100% of my betting efforts into the college season.  I'm a big believer in betting ML's.  Unless you're Hawaii QB Bryant Moniz, most players and coaches are not motivated to cover the spread, but are motivated to win ball games.  I like my money on the side of these motivations.  With that said, week 1 has two ML locks IMO that I will be playing with EVERY ML and straight bet I play.

TWO ML LOCKS

UCLA(-750) - This is both a play on UCLA as it is a fade of Rice.  Mora takes over a UCLA team with tons of experienced talent, especially on the defensive side of the ball.  Mora is gonna make a statement this first game against literally one of the worst teams in college football.  Rice returns five starters on both sides.  Had a passing defense that ranked 112th last year, has one returning O-lineman, one returning starter on the D-line.  This game will get ugly quick.  If someone said "here's a million dollars, you put up your life", I would take that bet, all day every day.

Alabama(-600) - First off, I'm a huge Michigan fan, love what Brady Hoke has done.  But the bottomline is, Michigan was extremely lucky last year, completely overachieved and did it with a ton of Senior talent.  This year, that senior talent is gone for the most part, most notably Mike Martin who clogged up the middle last year.  Now Michigan has one returning starter on the D-line and are facing the best offensive line in the country.  Are you kidding me?  Even with the improvement of the defense last year, they were still torched by Notre Dame and made Braxton Miller look like '06 Troy Smith.  Alabama takes the field with an explosive offensive, great Qb play, great O-line play, and great running game.  The inexperienced defense is loaded with talent, Saban has all offseason to prepare for Denard.  This game will unfortunately get ugly, Michigan will get exposed as Hoke is still playing with Rich Rod's players.

So again, each of of these plays will be parlayed with the two ML's above.  I will post the play and payout of the 3 team parlay.

Minnesota ML(-330) -  I watch UNLV here in Vegas, they are awful and are not going to get better over night.  Minnesota is underrated in Kill's second year, Marques Gray is the second most dynamic QB in the big ten behind Denard.  No way UNLV wins this, even at home.

 bet $138.33/$100

Penn St. ML(-230) - Penn St in home opener after the offseason they had?  That place is gonna be insane as they try to move on from the Sandusky debacle.  Transfers will hurt, but what's left behind is still big 10 level talent which will now be together and motivated like no other team.  Ohio is a good MAC team, good QB, but across the board Penn St will have them dominated talent wise, especially in the trenches.  Penn St will shut down Ohio, I expect a typical Penn St grinder, but talent and motivation will win out.

  bet $222.94/$200

Troy ML(-230) - Troy had horrible season last year, had brutal schedule starting on the road@Clemson and @Arkansas, turned the ball over way too much(-12).  With Corey Robinson starting his third year I expect Troy to come out firing on all cylinders.  UAB has one starter on the O-line, horrible QB, and ZERO starters in the secondary.  Troy will torch them.

  bet $222.94/$200

Clemson ML (-155) - Auburn has question marks everywhere including QB and O-line and are also thin at RB.  Clemson is being a little undervalued because of their bowl performance and the suspension of Sammy.  I think Clemson has something to prove and does against Auburn.  I remember last year when Auburn needed a miracle to beat Utah St in their home opener.  No miracles this day.

  bet $170.17/$200

...to be continued

Northwestern ML (-125) - I saw Cain Colter last year and was extremely impressed with this guy as he filled in for often injured Dan Persa.  Amazing wheels, good arm.  Northwestern has good depth at WR, good O-line, and a defense that showed vast improvements over the last four games of the season.  Syracuse has a decent QB but lose their top rusher and All Big East TE, which with them they only ranked 84th in the nation in scoring, now?  I just really love Northwestern and think they march into Syracuse and take this easily.

  bet $145/$200

Eastern Mich/Ball St Over 56(-110) -  This is my favorite total of the week.  Both teams are loaded on the offensive side and decimated in the secondary.  If that doesn't equal an over, then what does?  Both teams scored in the 30's last year, both teams are better offensively and worst in the secondary IMO.

  bet $131.22/$200

South Carolina ML (-270) - Love what Vandy is doing over there, but they are still not at the level of SEC elite, S. Car is.  That's the bottomline.  SC will dominate the trenches, will run the ball down their throats with Lattimore.  Vandy will not be catching the Ball Coach off guard, he will have his boys motivated and ready.

  bet $246.32/$200

Virgina Tech ML (-300) - Virginia Tech is loaded on the defensive side of the ball and have one of the best QB's in the ACC.  With a whole off season to prepare and nobody behind them in V Tech's schedule(Austin Peay), I expect V Tech to shut down Paul Johnson's option attack.  Opening day, in Lane Stadium, it may get ugly, but will definitely be a victory for Beamer ball.

  bet $262.13/$200

That's it for now, may add few as kick off gets closer.

Nickey- Good to hear.  As of now I'm pretty much just betting with Cantor as I have one of their online accounts setup and I love it so far.  I was definitely looking at Mich St.

agreed.  They are way ahead of the curve when it comes to legal online betting.  As a guy who lives 20 minutes form strip, and who refused to bet at a Station casino, Cantor is a life saver.

Just an observation from your neighbor to the north.  Here in Reno, William Hill has taken over.  By aquiring the Cal Neva, Lucky's and Leroy's books, William Hill is now everywhere in northern Nevada.  There are no more signs of the once ubiquitous Cal Neva books, even at the Cal Neva itself!  The downside is that there used to be 7 lines available in Reno/Sparks.  Now there are only 5.  Should get my first look at a William Hill parlay/teaser card tomorrow, and I'm curious if they'll keep Cal Neva's generous payouts (6.75 for 1 on three team parlays).

BOL this season

bama

buddy

Gl to both of you also.

Croc - I have really just started looking at William Hill here in Vegas, and like Nickey said, I love the looks of their ML's.  I might have to make extra trip this year to lay some of them bad boys down.

Philly - I wouldn't say REALLY love them, just don't see them losing this game.  Here's to penn st by 7, we both take em down.

Probably the worst CFB I've ever seen but a win's a win.  I probably became dumber after watching these idiots hitting each other late, and the officials blowing call after call.  darn it.  Time to rest up for another great night of CFB

ADDING

2 team ML parlay.

Alabama -550
Michigan St -280

Boise just loses way too much to go into Michigan St and beat a very good Michigan St. team.  Michigan St will DOMINATE both lines of scrimmage.  Yes, both teams breaking in new qb, but the difference is Mich st will rely on their running game, returning Le'Veon Bell and 4/5 starters on O line vs a team that returns ONE starter from their front seven.  Are you kidding me?  Not even Peterson can overcome these odds in the first game of the season on the road.  Sparty rolls here.

$331.18/200
