#4 Posted: 8/9/2012 11:23:35 PM Thanks TRAIN... BOL to you as well
I like the move... I think Mizzou will do fine, they are a good team, experienced, and have a good athletic QB... What most people don't understand about the SEC is anyone can lose any week... It's a physical league from top to bottom... If Mizzou can bring their A game every week then they will do well... I definitely like their chances more than I like A&M's...

#8 Posted: 8/11/2012 2:37:04 AM Corley - what about State against Jackson week 1? I think MSU has a lot of talent and will be a very improved team this year and has excellent talent. They should dominate Jackson St....thoughts?

#9 Posted: 8/11/2012 9:06:20 PM State will dominate this game... You'll probably see a lot of back ups, but it will not matter... Auburn is on deck, which IMO, is MSU's biggest game, but MSU calling basic plays should be enough... MSU beat a bad Memphis team last year 59-14 using mainly basic plays and back ups the 2H.

I dont think Mizzou is ready for the week in week out pounding on both lines they are gonna take. We are used to seeing the spread and to be honest 8-9 weak/soft teams per season (Tex/Ou being the usually "bullies of the former big 12) ......
I honestly think Mizzou will be huge fade material after the Bama game.....@So Car, @ UCF, Vandy and then Bama ....Thats gonna be a tough month physically....they do get a bye after Bama, but UK wont be a push over after that (Mizzou in letdown mode) and then they have to travel to Florida, Tenn and A &M
I think a .500 season would be good.

#13 Posted: 8/12/2012 2:15:34 PM Train - If Mizzou finishes 6-6 or 7-5, that will be a very nice season for them and a big positive to build off of for next year. I think they finish 7-5
nostra - what's going on brother... BOL to you too... continue to dominate! you and me both are liking this class haha... but yeah you're right about the RB's... it hurts losing Ballard, but they are deep this year and have a lot of speed
DU4L - appreciate the kind words man... BOL to you as well and hope you continue to have success
Y'all are some of the best on here and are really true assets to this site... |

#16 Posted: 8/14/2012 2:15:33 AM So Corley - remind me again why you and I like Rutgers on the road @ Tulane! Best of Luck with the picks...
Also, can you mitigate the fear that I have that if I pick Nebraska -17, S Miss will play over their heads, that new QB Alford will enter the game and start slicing and dicing an overrated Neb secondary...or tell me that Nebraska will finally put it all together and dominate a team that just lost their 4 year starting QB in Davis and barely beat an average Nevada team in the Hawaii Bowl last year??? |

#17 Posted: 8/14/2012 2:27:07 AM corley - did you see this...he led UCLA in tacles last season...
http://cfn.scout.com/2/1145083.html
prima facie, it appears that ucla should romp on rice, but i am not sure...new coach, a couple of key losses...rice will play way over their heads like they always do...if this would be mid season or at LA, then a no brainer...this is a no play for me, but i wish you success with the pick... |

#19 Posted: 8/14/2012 9:50:09 AM Good to see you back Corley. Hopefully our Dawgs can have a break out season this year.
I'm having a hard time with the Nebraska/USM game. I know USM lost a lot, but knowing Ellis Johnson their D will be strong and being the first game of the year I expect both clubs to be sloppy offensively.
Also, love the USC pick. Best bet of the weekend for me!
Good Luck this year |

LHH - I wrote a pretty in depth write up about a month ago... I can't get to it right now, but go to my page and see if you can find it... Rutgers takes care of business
Also, I saw that about UCLA, but still think they take care of business |

#23 Posted: 8/14/2012 6:17:39 PM Relf really wasn't that bad... A lot of what went wrong last year had to do with all of the injuries to the O-Line...
I really don't think he is or will unless something really big becomes available... He's happy and is getting everything he wants |

Bought the point to get it at 7... Feel more comfortable at 7, but expect a close game |
