A little nervous about Kentucky, they are going to have a rough season

#6 Posted: 8/3/2012 12:06:25 PM I'm on board with UGA / Oklahoma and Ohio State (not too many people like this pick, but anything under 24 is a gift)
Still thinking about USC, it isn't the team that scares me, but rather Kiffin.
I'll have to see Texas a couple weeks before laying any BIG chalk with them.
Nos

#9 Posted: 8/3/2012 1:28:25 PM tide - good to see you back bro, GL this year , hopefully OU can pick up PSU Brown for WRs, yeah I can understand on KY that offense was pitiful LY...Maxwell should be improved and tight series
chef, AL - same here, BOL fellas
cherokee - good to hear on OSU...agree Kiffin and his 2 pt conversions could cost us if near the number....counting on the Horns running game against Wyoming run defense...if they're not sharp it could be 34-7 like it was a couple years ago in same spot... GL this year bud
wiseguy - think SJST run defense (204 ypg) is going to be a problem against a power rushing team and probably won't do much against solid defense, might lean towards the cardinal at -24 or less, GL |

My thoughts alsol.A good rushing game will make Stanford's QB situation a little less questionable. It's 24 1/2 now,we may have a shot at it.Thanks.GL as well.

#13 Posted: 8/3/2012 2:05:25 PM Nice pics Nos! I am also with Heritage...they need to get with the program...
Georgia -37 (1.75u)
Do you think Marshall is the real deal. Does UGA have enough of a inside running game to keep D's honest? Obviously, you are not too concerned about the loss of IC and the AO and the 3 in the secondary...I would prefer UGA -35...What's is forecasted score?
USC -38 (1.75u)
Should be a blowout, but for some reason, I don't trust Kiffin to prevent a back door cover...will AD HAden clamp down on Kiffin to prevent a blowout since Chow is involved?
Texas -28 (1.25u)
You have more faith than I do. Ash is a marginal QB when healthy. He has had hamstring issues this summer. Our Running game should be SEC like as will our D. Wyoming has a great record ATS as a road dog the last 3 years. I have no doubt our D will limit Wyoming to less than 10 points, I just don't know if we can score enough points to cover. The clock will go faster with the emphasis on the running game.
Ohio St -22.5 (1.25u)
This pick intrigues me. Miami burned me last year in week 1 against Misouri and Franklin's 1st start. This is an early game at the shoe. I have no doubt OSU will be pumped for the 1st game under Meyer, but like the Texas example, does B Miller have the ability and the weapons to put up at least 30 on Miami in week 1?
Thanks in advance for the perspectives... |

Looks like the # is moving up to -26 on Stanford.

Interesting pick fading Louisville tho. I think Texas may be a nice pick, I just cant trust this Ash character at QB so early. I'll have to see how their QB play is. But their defense will be solid, no doubt |

I was all set to bet L'Ville this week, but I'm not sure Bridgewater Is "as Advertised". I might lean to KY. @ +14 1/2

Because it is the first game, and everyone will be trying to impress the coaches, I don't think going to the 2nd string and keeping it on the ground , will slow USC down much. Plus, why would Chow keep his best players in when it's a blowout? |

I think after watching other teams become national champions they will have the"green Light" to do whatever is necessary to prove they are deserving to be national champions this year.

To teach them humility. That's the first step in building them up.

#24 Posted: 8/3/2012 7:41:28 PM USC worries me on D. I have trouble thinking they will play HI any better than they did last year's starting sked. Will they be more focused and disciplined than last year? |

#25 Posted: 8/3/2012 8:32:36 PM Take Georgia, USC, and Ohio St. and put them in a 3 team 10 point teaser and count your cash! I rarely do teasers in NCAA football but early in the year it really helps with some of these inflated lines. |
