#3 Posted: 7/23/2012 4:24:53 PM Va Tech is usually tough on thurs nights at home.....Clemson or Florida at home should be decent games...still yeah could be favored in all of them..problem is if either the B12 or P12 or maybe even B10 has an undefeated team they'll probably play the SEC champ in the title game leaving FSU undefeated and out |

#5 Posted: 7/23/2012 5:39:42 PM the easiest of their 5 road games is @ Miami, because Miami has major problems,
but @ South Fla, @ NC State, @ VaTech and @ Maryland are all tough,
hosting Clemson and Florida will also be very tough,
i say FSU finishes 10-2 at best

#9 Posted: 7/23/2012 11:14:30 PM They may not. I think we could lose one and still play for it all. If we go undefeated its because we have more talent than anybody in the country. That's hard to argue with. |

An ACC team will most certainly not get in the Title game with one loss, they would have to consider not putting the ACC Champ in even if they are undefeated. The ACC's record in BCS games is putrid, hell besides VT getting to play a Big East team in the Orange Bowl in 08, FSU was the last one to win a BCS bowl game in that conference in 1999. |

#12 Posted: 7/24/2012 6:00:50 AM that's true no way they get there with 1 loss.....although the defense is getting back to the 90's the offense and QB still have a long way to go...Manuel (24-18 TD-INT lifetime) struggles against the better defenses....85 yds against OU ...65 against FL...although did better in bowl against ND with 249 they had 3 pts heading into the 4th |

#13 Posted: 7/24/2012 6:04:38 AM and some might even wonder if OU is even one of the better defenses after giving up 40+ to TT, Okla St and Baylor |

Whata homer you must be- the most talent in the country? Really? Please expand on that- LSU, Alabama, and USC all have more talent and all have a harder schedule. FSU's schedule is a joke and the ACC is a joke. Until FSU starts killing teams again, no way the go the the national championship game. Especially with one loss. |

#19 Posted: 7/26/2012 5:06:38 PM I agree that LSU and Bama have a toughter schedule but they probably have tougher schedule than anyone. As for USC, who do they play? Oregon. But Ducks will be down some from last year. I am definitely partial to my team, but I think our talent is neck and neck with anybody. We can talk all we want. Lets have this conversation in November when we see what has actually happened on the field. |

#21 Posted: 7/26/2012 10:19:56 PM They lost there QB and Lamichael James. They may be just as good as last year, we will see. I still think that USC's schedule is not very strong. The PAC 12 is week overall. |

#22 Posted: 7/27/2012 12:23:56 AM FSU is a dogshit team they'll lose at least 2 games, most likely 3 or 4. Can't believe Seminole8 is rambling on like the ACC is a good conference.

#23 Posted: 7/27/2012 12:32:48 AM Love the FSU naysayers. This was a top 4 defense that did not really start playing well til the mid point of the season. They are, with the exception of 2, all back and deeper. There is not a better defense in college football...period.
FSU lost to Oklahoma very early....then lost on the road to Clemson and WF...starting a freshman QB...FSU was devastated in the oline by injuries...hence 4 freshman started on oline against Notre Dame in Bowl(FSU won anyway). There is not a deeper core of receivers in the country...RB's are very good...and it is foolish to belittle EJ...he beat ND playing on a broken leg...Offense will be high output. O-line is coming along nicely. FSU can and will score plenty with a multitude of playmakers....
Love the naysayers....there is not a more talented team in America....also have to warm up games to get that O-line gelled. Fade the Noles....please! |

#24 Posted: 7/27/2012 1:36:04 AM FSU's defense willl not be any better than UF's this year, the stats from the horrible teams they play will make them look better on paper.. FSU gained like 14 yards against the Gators last year |

#25 Posted: 7/27/2012 4:03:44 AM What a turrible schedule. The first two opponents are preseason games and WF is not much better so the season doesn't really start until Sept. 22...I say 10-2 at best! |
