If LY's line was great....these guys (even with nobody coming back) could be very good.....if previous line stunk...they could be terrible
*if combined with a new QB.....and a new HC
therefore learning new terminology/systems.....watch out
and if facing a very aggressive defensive front EARLY....they could be in trouble

forget Stanford.....they'll be fine
a few at the bottom kinda just leap off the page....
consider SMU....0 starters back......and a QB that hasn't taken a snap yet......G Gilbert had to spend the spring taking 27 hours or so (holy crap) to graduate......to become eligible at SMU....later...he may be fine since this is the offense he ran in high school ....plus June Jones has been trying to leave for 2 years....but can't get hired

with a new coach + new QB + on the road + bad OL + facing an aggressive/more talented DL + all new calls/blocking schemes/techniques....looks like the best one to fade
*it seems like many here don't realize the old Hawaii offense is GONE.....they are NOW running an offense more familiar to USC.....than them.....UH-OH....

Agree, # of starts is better than # of starters, but the best inidcator would be # of snaps, but I think only a few schools chart this number. If two guys get equals snaps, one of them is a starter in name only. Not sure how many schools rotate the O Line... |
