Two facts from the CFB season.

1. The Big 12 was the best Conference in football this year.

2. The SEC is overrated and with the exception of LSU are an average to below average conference. Alabama probably couldn't have won the Big East this year yet they are playing in the NCG.

The Big 12 is 5-1 ATS the SEC is 1-2 ATS in bowl games this year.

By riding the Big 12 and Fading the SEC you would be a combined 7-2 thus far ATS.

Therefore the picks are:

Michigan St. +3

Nebraska +2.5

Ohio State +2.5

Ok St. -4

The SEC tries to sell the public through their corporate sponsors ESPN and CBS that they are a dominant conference.

Time to take advantage of this misperception and make some money fade the SEC.

. The Big 12 was the best Conference in football this year.

The Big 12 had 1 WIN over a team ranked at the end of the year

That was Baylor beating TCU opening night

For the FIRST TIME IN THE HISTORY OF FOOTBALL...the SEC had the #1, #2 and #3 team ranked at one point....

If LSU, Bama and Arkansas didnt have to play each other all 3 team would have been undefeated

Meant to say, the Big 12 had 1 win OUTSIDE of conference beating a team ranked at the end of the year

Im an Auburn fan and Alabama would beat Ok St. as badly as they beat Auburn.

You haven't seen the kind of D they play, and Trent would run for 300 on that Ok St. D. They have 3 DB's who would all hold their own with Blackmon.

Im an Auburn fan and Alabama would beat Ok St. as badly as they beat Auburn.

You haven't seen the kind of D they play, and Trent would run for 300 on that Ok St. D. They have 3 DB's who would all hold their own with Blackmon.

Ok St gave up almost 50 points at home to K ST

Bama and LSU barely gave up 50 points all year in conference

Ok St blew a 24-7 lead to a ISU team who scored 1 TD on powerhouse Rutgers

Richardson would average 15 yds a run against Ok St

I partially agree with you.  ESPN does try to sell you SEC propaganda.  LSU and Alabama, however are NOT overrated.  South Carolina and Arkansas are.  Arkansas is a Big-12 team masquerading as an SEC team.  In fact, Arkansas would be a middle of the road big-12 team.  The reality of the SEC this year is it is a two team conference.  There was absolutely no reason Arkansas should have been ranked as high as 3.  As for the rest of the conference, Vandy, Kentucky, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Fla, etc....absolute garbage.

Big 12 and Pac 12 have the same thing in common....

Their fans cry why their teams dont get any love...but they cant beat anybody outside their own conference...

If any team in either conference could learn what a 3 and out on defense is, maybe they can get some respect....

Giving up 35+ points a game on defense is pathetic....

USC is the best team from both those conferences and they cant even play a bowl game

Arkansas isn't middle of the road either. They are going to mop up K State. South Carolina is the only overrated SEC team this year.

Arkansas would have been in the MNC if it weren't for Bama and LSU. Only the SEC can stop the SEC right now.

If the two best teams in the country are from the SEC how should the rest of the conference be???

Kind of hard for them to be good when they have 2 losses for sure...

Almost every other conference has about a .500 record within conference, so adding 3 of the top 7 teams makes it difficult for other teams to put up good records...

Exactly....Arkansas wouldnt have any losses if they didnt play at LSU and Bama

I also dont think SC is overrated...as good as Richardson is, I think Lattimore is the best RB...when he got hurt it ruined any chance SC has, and they are still 10-2

Its like saying the AL East is bad in baseball even though the Yanks and Boston always have 100 wins....

Kind of hard for the ENTIRE conference to perform well, when they top 2 teams dominate everyone else

What's your argument here? Louisville's offense would shred 'Bama's defense which every single starter will be drafted in the next year or two?

The Big 12 is 5-1 ATS the SEC is 1-2 ATS in bowl games this year.

By riding the Big 12 and Fading the SEC you would be a combined 7-2 thus far ATS.

Therefore the picks are:

Michigan St. +3

Nebraska +2.5

Ohio State +2.5

Ok St. -4

The SEC tries to sell the public through their corporate sponsors ESPN and CBS that they are a dominant conference.

Time to take advantage of this misperception and make some money fade the SEC.

I'm no fan of bama but claiming they wouldn't have won the big east this year is laughable.

Is this a capper's thread or a fan thread about who's conference is better?

I actually think all the matchups today should be close down to the wire.  msu-uga, osu-uf definitely.

s.car has a chance to play well today if they show up and spurrier doesn't bull his usual bowl letdown.

I happen to agree I think Okie St rolls tonight and will be backing them, probably large.

Right....

People hating on the SEC is so funny....

Why does Ok st look so good??  Because when they play their games, they have 15 seconds to throw the ball...wr face zone and make catches without anybody within 10 yds of them...running backs go 7 yds without being touched...

Bama played 4 games this year outside the SEC and give up 9 ppg

Pretty sure Big 12 teams start the games with 10 points already on the scoreboard

Just look at what LSU did to Oregon...

Take away a late bs score agaisnt prevent defense and LSU held Oregon to 20 points on TURF

Oregon wasnt held to under 35 the rest of the year...and held under 40 just twice
