im going to focus on the one VERY underrated unit in this game...and thats the tech defense. statistically they are right around tcu's d. 4 games that really impress me..holding houston to 14 points heading into the 4th qtr before getting outscored 21-0 in a total collapse. still they held that offense to 449 total yards with many of them coming late in the game. holding a VERY good s miss team to 379 total yards and only losing by 2 on the road. losing in overtime to miss state on the road. even though miss state wasnt good this year still a tough place to play. and maybe the most impressive going on the road to nevada and winning while holding them to 20 points. to put that into perspective...in nevadas other home games they scored 37,49, 45, 42, and 56 
. so its not just 1 or 2 games their d has played well. its been consistantly well the entire year against some good offenses. quite frankly tcu hasnt stopped good offenses. they gave up 35 to boise, 28 to byu, 40 to smu, and 50 to baylor. l tech still has a capable running game without creer but more importanty their d will keep em in it.
