Houston - (i) Tony Levine, assistant head coach
Illinois - (i) Vic Koenning, defensive coordinator
North Carolina - (i) Everett Withers, interim head coach for the entire season
Ohio State - (i) Luke Fickell, interim head coach for the entire season
Penn State - (i) Tom Bradley, interim head coach since November 9
Pittsburgh - Keith Patterson, defensive coordinator
Southern Miss - Larry Fedora
Texas A&M - (i) Tim DeRuyter, defensive coordinator
Toledo - Matt Campbell, promoted from offensive coordinator
UCLA - (i) Mike Johnson, offensive coordinator

this is a great thread, thank you. This may/or may not effect games, but its a key factor to consider in each of those games. These are the kinds of threads we need in here instead of everyone just posting there picks trying to make a name for themselves. Good insight.

Great thread as well. Losing a head coach after a great season can sway the team emotionally to play even harder than normal if the team loves the coach.

Arkansas got rid of their DC ,,,, picked up the co-Def cord from Ohio State,,, I dont recall any names....but the guy Ark hired from Ohio St, worked with secondary.

yeah that got little press....
New Ark DC is Paul Haynes from Ohio St......who will coach in the Cotton Bowl.....as will new OC Paul Petrino...

  Since this thread relates to coaching changes.........does anybody have any thoughts about how the coaching changes will affect the teams playing??     For example,    Arkansas brings in a new O-Cord and D-Cord,,,,will players be more motivated under new coaching??    I also heard that Ohio State was down to 4 defensive coaches before Paul Haynes left,,,,,Urban is not going to coach the bowl game,,,I wouldnt think they would hire another coach just for the bowl game,,,,,,,wonder if this will have a negative effect on Ohio St??

FYI - Carl Pelini will NOT be coaching for Nebraska at the bowl game - you had a ? mark for that position - not sure how much of an impact that will have as the Head Coach will simply take that over and Bo Pelini did alot of the defensive planning during the regular season being a defensive coach.

    *interim HC Tony Levine given the job permanently

PITT/Wisky
   *Wisky OC Paul Chryst new Pitt HC.....supposedly will coach Wisky in Rose Bowl....
    *not great news for Wisky backers...(he and other Wisky assistants going with him.... MUST start recruiting NOW).... slightly good news for Pitt backers......(if they didn't have a HC > bowl prep much tougher)
