This thread will run as a single thread in three parts. Part 1: Last Week recap with early leans, Part 2: Early Plays on line movement, Part 3: Saturday plays with write ups.On recap 2 scores will be posted what i predicted. All parts will be ran on same thread, so you will have to go to last page for Saturdays plays...
Not a great season for me as it got really up and down towards the end...a nice 7-1 week followed by a crappy 2-5.....
Bowling will be a breakdown of all bowls with part 1 being the leans and part 2 will be each week rolling out picks with write ups...ill only play a few and will note what they are....

Beef O' Bradys Bowl:Fla Int @ Marshall +4 : Fla int is a team with a stout defense against a Marshall squad that only could beat lackluster teams. Fla int is a little undersized in the trenches against. Speed kills in this case. Fla Int -4...FIU 28 Marshall 10
Poinsettia Bowl : TCU @ La Tech +10 : If Creer for LA Tech wasn't out the conversation would be different and i would be jumping on the Bulldogs. TCU coming in with a young crew that learned allot is starting to play good football to what u expect from the Horn Frogs. TCU owns hugs mismatch on the corners on O and D...TCU -10 but not by a ton...TCU 34 La Tech 21
Las Vegas Bowl:ASU at Boise St. -14 : Flip a coin to see which ASU team will show up...We know Bosie St. and how good they can be and i don't see allot of changes here...Please remember this a lean and not the write up...Boise St. -14, Boise St. 38 ASU 21
Hawaii Bowl: Nevada @ So. Missippi -6.5 : Usually with so. Miss in this match up im all over...So. Miss has the size on both sides of the ball in the trenches and their WR are tall, lanky and have some speed...Flip side of the coin is the Coach has bailed for UNC and makes you wonder how they will prepare and how the players will react. This could be a trap game but ill take Davis, Woodwayd and Bolden with the size...The over looks solid here as well...So. Miss 42 Nevada 31

Independence Bowl:UNC @ Mizzou -5: I wish we could fast forward here to next year as both teams will be on my radar for major improvements to lackluster years...UNC in shambles and the O is very inconsistent and very predictable at times thanks coach Bubba Gump...UNC does not have the best front 7 as some might thought they are undersized but do have talent. They have been shut down and made irrelevant by many teams. Mizzou has some serious issues at RB and i don't think Franklin is mature enough of a passer to carry the tea, to victory yet...Mizzou D has good days and bad days but they do bring attitude and size and most are young and have allot to play for next year...UNC's D is out the door, coaches included and moist are thinking about combines and scouts...Mizzou 30 UNC 14
Little Ceasers Bowl: WMU @ Purdue -2.5:I have said it before and will say it again...Carder/White combo is the best in the Midwest....WMU is very inexperienced on the DL and OL but do tout size for a MAC team...OL averages 315 lbs....blocking is suspect at times though...Purdue comes in big and slow as you expect from big ten team but have showed allot of promise for a team so young. I am looking at a close game here but the Carder/White combo puts up 3 td's and Carder puts up 5 for the game...Purdue should be able to move the ball against this young D but the O is set for ground and pound not pass and score....WMU 42 Purdue 35
Belk Bowl: Louisville @ NC State -2....What a turnaround both of the teams have made this season...both were looking dismal and like high school football teams in the beginning.... Louisville O and D grew up before our eyes with good coaching and Bridgewater might turn into an OK QB after all...Glennon and NC State coming in banged up in the back field and have lost both starting FB and HB and are now using a freshman RB who has been putting up some great ypc averages....Looking at shoot out as both D's can fall asleep at times and are still young.... Louisville 42 NC St. 38
