Montana -1both team with an identical 10-2 record and evenly matchedN. Iowa higher ranked in the FCS at 2 while Montana is at 5both team rely heavily on the defenseboth team in the top 10 in total defense in the FCSMontana is 1 while Montana is 6both offense about the sameMontana rank 17 in offense while N. Iowa is at 18N. Iowa has played a tougher schedule, has senior leadership with QB Tirrell Rennie this young Grizzlies has mature through the season to produce a 8 game winning streak, their FG kicker is also good, he has made 16 straight FG which is rare with college kickersthe deciding factor is Montana is a jaggernuat home 30-1 over last 4 years, 7-0 this season and 18-1 in the playoffs, factor in NIU was out-gained in yardage last week by Wofford, 478-238I think Montana rushing attack with Peter Nguyen, Jordan Canada, Dan Moore can produce similar results

Montana has been playing lights-out for six weeks or so.  They&#x27;re probably twice the team they were when the season started.  Gateway teams don&#x27;t usually make much noise in the playoffs, and this one is in Missoula - one of the very few places in 1-AA with a real home field edge in the playoffs [if you don&#x27;t know, many teams who draw quite well during the season, hardly draw at all in the playoffs, for a variety of reasons. Montana is not one of them].  Line looks awfully cheap for the Grizz.

Griz roll in this one. 30-1 in Missoula is no fluke.

The stadium (Washington Grizzly) is built much like Autzen in Eugene, meaning the fans are basically right on the field. Between crowd noise and elevation NIU is done. Griz at -2.5 or -3 is free money.

I love Northern Iowa @ &#x2B;4 guys, these 1AA games anything could happen!  I&#x27;m pretty sure last year Delaware was up 20-0 and ended up blowing that lead and losing 21-20!

Wofford almost beat Clemson TY.  I&#x27;d put this line at 4.5Why are they strating this game at 8:00 EST????  It is going to be damn cold.  Do everyone at the game a favor and start it at 2:00 local time.

Weather here in Missoula should be pretty nice for tonight's game....no chance of snow, near to low 20's at game time (according to the local news)....no call for wind. That is huge, the wind at Washington-Grizzly stadium can be a real bitch this time of year.

I have been wrong about the griz all season, they have improved steadily since the drubbing at sac st earlier this year. The last two weeks they have been clicking on all cylinders offensively, which is something that they have yet to do consistantly under the 2nd year head coach Flugrad. The ass-kicking they gave to Montana St in Bozeman (MSU was ranked #1 in that game adn -4.5) 3 weeks ago spun my head around......it was impressive to the least.

I can't call this one, but I will say that the Griz defensive front 7 can flat-ass play. They get great pressure on the QB, and are pretty stingy vs the run....and that defense is outstanding in the second half of ball games. However, the secondary is suspect in my eyes, so if UNI can throw at all they will have a shot.

Griz offense can look like a cluster**** at times, and they are not good at all on the goaline or inside the 5. The QB Johnson is young and injury proned. The second string QB Kemp is a pure option guy, and absolutely worthless throwing the ball, and not real great at the read-option either. The best pure passer the Griz have is the 3rd stringer Nate Montana (Joe's kid).

One thing is for sure, that stadium will be sold-out and rockin', the tailgates will have the north end-zone liquored up pretty good by kickoff. Good front 7 on defense and a loud crowd can lead to alot of turnovers for UNI.

After watching every griz game this year, I am just not sold on the Griz offense. I won't put any glimmer in play on this one....... Good luck to all

I dunno guys this is a Northern Iowa team

1) Getting points and they are ranked higher

2) been playing in 20 degree weather all week

3) that is getting no respect from ESPN streak. 90% on Montana

4) a team that has never beaten Montana and has to be hungry!

5) A more athletic and better QB

-4 is fair to get action on both side, I have no opinion in the total

NIU backers not concern the run defense got shredded last week by Wofford option attack....Montana loves to run the ball with their 3 headed monster trio
