Updated season record below:

92-66-4ytd +303.5 units (58%)...
12-6 POD's +118 units (67%)...

Play of the year is:

Toledo -3 for 50 units... Air Force has just 5 wins against D-1 opponent's this year and not one of them have a winning record or have made a bowl game. Here are the list of teams and  records for Air Force's 5 D-1 win's...

@Navy (4-5su)
@New Mexico (1-11su)
Army (3-8su)
UNLV (2-10)
Colorado State (3-9su)

So that's a compiled opponent's record of 13-45 vs the teams Air Force had beat in D-1 play. For most of you wondering where the other 2 wins came from, Air Force had 2 more wins against the 6-5su South Dakota & 5-6 Tennessee State FCS football teams. Air Force's defense will be no match for this Toledo offense that is ranked 8th nationally in yards gained per game as they have many play maker's. Terrance Owen's & Austin Danton have lead this team to victories over bowl teams Temple & Western Michigan while putting up 199 points on 5 different bowl teams combined (Ohio st, Boise st, Temple, Western Mich & Northern Illinois).  That's an average of 39.8ppg vs teams in bowl games this season. When you have a go to wide receiver like Eric Page who caught 111 passes for over 1100 yards and 10 td's, your offense is going to have a great shot at success vs many teams. This kid can fly up and down the field and he tore up defense's all season long. I have no doubt's in Toledo in this match up at all and I give them a very high probability of winning this game by double digit's over the much weaker and one dimensional and very predictable Air Force team... POY

This is my play of the year. So i'm loading up for my largest sports wager of the season on them as i'm ready to back Toledo in a game where they have advantage's all over the field in the talent department...

Have you seen Toledo's defense though?  I mean, as good as the offense for this team is, the defense is as BAD.  High School - type defense, seriously.

I think Toledo scores a lot, but Air Force will get there as well.  Best of luck.

Both defenses are bad Dime. I actually think Toledo's is better than Air Force's. Odds I jumped on this earlier today bought it down to -2.5 though but I thought the same exact thing. Toledo's offense might put up 50 on Air Force. Toledo is even better than their record shows. They BEAT Syracuse but arguably the worse ref call in ncaa this year took that away and they hung with Ohio State AT Ohio State. They lost to Northern Illinois by 3 but that was anyones game and ether NIU or Toledo would clobber air Force in my opinion.

This is exactly were I would question you. Have you seen this Toledo defense play? Because this statement is so very untrue. High school defense you say, come on man. Nobody is going to put their defense on a pedastool but you just slammed them more so than needs be. Also If that's how you feel about Toledo's defense, I would love to hear what kind of analogy you have for the Air Force run defense that allows 230ypg on the ground. By your standards Air Force's defense should be classified as a junior high one based on their opponent's and what they have done to them...

Once Toledo jumps out in front in this game and Air Force has no means of transportation by way of air. Stopping the triple option will and ahould become a thing of nature for the 28th ranked rushing defense that Toledo is sporting on the season (123ypg). And just for the record for anyone who didn't get a chance to watch the Toledo/Ohio state game earlier this season. Toledo held the Buckeye's to just 112 yards on 34 carries and nearly beat the Bucks in Columbus because of their defense alone. Transition year or not for the Bucks that was still the 27th ranked rushing offense in the nation who put up an average of nearly 200 yards per game on teh ground this season...

Will probably add the Rockets later, but just took the over to start with.

In my honest opinion this is all any recreational bettor needs to know about Toledo is relation to fading Air Force in this game. Air Force hasn't seen many pretty solid teams this year but when they have let's take a look at the results of their 5 losses....

TCU 19-35 loss

Notre Dame 33-59 loss

San Diego st 27-41 loss

Boise st 26-37 loss

Wyoming 17-25 loss

So that's 5 bowl teams adding up to 5 losses with 4 of them by double digit's and all of them by a combined average of 15ppg and compiling a -7 turnover margin in these games as Air Force's turn the ball over at least 2 time's in each of these game's by either fumble or interception for a total of 13 turnover's in these 5 games. That tell's me everything about how Air Force can't handle the pressure against the tougher compititon. Toledo most definitely falls into this category against Air Force...

Honestly i'm not sure how many point's Air Force can give us. The one thing i'm sure of is that Toledo should and will move the ball in this game...

Hey man.  Not trying to offend your pick.  All i care about is the $$$ so i am actually glad I read your post.  My lean for this before your post was just the OVER as I thought both teams would score.   But upon further reflection Toledo is only the 74th worst D in the FBS.  There pass D is probably the "high school" D that I was referring too, as it is 114th.  But run D is good at 22nd in nation.  That explains kind of why they struggled against NIU but beat down Temple.

So Toledo -3 may be my pick now.

thanks for the write up. i like it also. but my only worry would be how much rush offense compared to pass offense happens in the MAC. in reference to toledo's def vs. the rush being 22 in the country.
