LSU would have been laying at least 10 to Oklahoma St.....No Way should the Cowboys be there after Losing as a 4 TD favorite !!!   The defense is ranked what 100th ????

Odds makers are very smart

since when does an opening line dictate how good or who will win the game..

I mean does that mean Florida +7 over OSU wasn't deserving because they were a TD dog in the NT game when voters decided they didn't want to see a rematch (OSU v UM)..??

The opening line doesn't necessarily have anything to do with what actually happens on the field, but it gives the best representation of what would happen if the game was played a large number of times.

If this game was played over and over again the teams would come very close to splitting the meetings. The same cannot be said if LSU was playing Okie St multiple times.

Aside from it presenting a better wagering opportunity, I don't see why anyone would prefer to see LSU play a vastly inferior team.

If you think Ohio St. would have won the majority of games against Florida even though they were a 7 point favorite I would like to know which game you were watching.

The only people on the planet licking the BCS right now are bama's.

I don't have a dog in this fight, and it's obvious we need playoffs NOW! If bama and lsu came out on top, there would be nothing for people to bitch about. Even a four or six team playoff would put all the B(c)S to rest.
