I think the team that got fucked even worse was Kansas State.  The Big 12 only have 1 team in a BCS bowl.

Virginia Tech and Michigan getting in a BCS bowl ahead of K-State and Boise is a miscarriage of justice.

Yeah K State has a great case too.  Really sad we as fans don't get a playoff system.  Even a 4 team playoff would be great.  It is all about money.

Thats because the Big 12 is garbage.  Everybody talks about their wins and rankings and bla bla.  They beat each other, they give up 42+ per game. 

The ENTIRE BIG 12 CONFERENCE HAS ONE WIN, ONE WIN, ONE WIN against a ranked team outside of conference...Baylor beating TCU opening night

Big 12...barely above the ACC

i agree, the way teams are selected for the bcs games is not fair and not right. i know its the system, but it has got to change its format.

This is EXACTLY why we need a playoff.  If nobody showed for these games, guarantee we would have one next year....

as a hokie fan..i have to agree... the way tech played yesterday was god awful and doesnt deserve the sugar bowl. dont think Boise St should have been in there anyways... K St was more deserving out of those 2. I'll take it though...obviously. But Like Herby stated earlier...Tech fans travel galore!

between UM and VT, they are a combined 1-3 vs top 25 teams.. K-State has 3 top 25 wins this yr.. Boise beat UGA and is top 8 in the BCS..

no reason for UM or VT to be in over KSU or Boise..

And who did Boise lose to as 16 pt favorites in that weak ass conference?  hmmmmm, exactly!  Make the FG or should I say FGS and people wont be wasting their time in threads like this. GO BLUE!

And what conference is one of the biggest impediments to a playoff?  Why it's the Big 12.  When the SEC proposed a 4-team playoff format, the Big 12 representatives blew them off.  Now we see where that got them.  Call this one a big heaping dose of karma.
