Sides  63 - 44    + 34

Totals 34 - 28   + 14.5

Overall  97 - 72    + 48.5    ( 57.3% )

1unit=$100

Another season coming to a close and another season cashing that money. Going 4 - 1 this past week picking up 6 units. What a way to finish the college football regular season. Great games and great finishes is what makes this sport so great. I hope all of you had a great weekend and I look forward to talking with all of you about the upcoming bowl games.

Ten Things we Learned

1. As most of you know I was at the ACC championship game last night. Man has it been a long time coming. I felt great for all the guys who held there heads up high and fought through the past few difficult weeks they have had. This team is really young and will be VERY good next season. Now about these V.T fans. I went to the game with my wife and oldest son. I'm not saying all V.T fans are complete classes garbage.... but I damn sure 90% are. What a bunch of low life loud mouth garbage talking fans. These guys ran there mouths the entire day and were the most disrespectful fans I have ever been apart of. One guy thought it was OK to scream curse words behind us right behind my little boy. I told that fat low life girl to sit down and watch his mouth or I would put my foot in his behind. Did they care? Of course not. To the 90% of Hokie Nation.... you are classless garbage.

2. I know most dont want to hear it but I think that if you are in your right mind, you have to vote Bill Snyder the coach of the year. This guy, this wizard has done it again. Over the years you guys have read on here how much I respect the man. After this season, I dont know how you cant agree. Bill Snyder is a legend and college football is grateful to have had him.

3. I haven't got to see it yet but how about them Sooners. Wow! Did little brother bend you over his leg and spank your behind or what. There is a new sheriff in Oklahoma now and he's a man...he's forty. Sooner nation, you will not be playing in a BCS game. If you do it will be a slap in the face to all college football fans everywhere. I'm one of the few who likes Stoops, but this team needs to learn how to play better defense and learn how to win the games that really matter.

4. RG3. What else can you say? Before the year I told you that him and this team would light the scoreboard up like Christmas tree. Well? What ya think now. Any voter in there right mind should vote RG3 as the Heisman winner. Why? Because he is the best overall player WHO MAKES HIS TEAM BETTER  in the country. It's not Richardson. Nope, he's a great back...but it's not him. It's RG3. He is the best player in the country. The Heisman trophy is a popularity contest. It's not about the best players anymore. It's about who ESPN gives more air time too. It's a disgrace.

5. LSU is a bully. I though hard about betting against them this week, but i had to remind myself about how this team holds the mojo. The mojo is the mojo man. After about 2 1/2 quarters I think LSU had 40 yds rushing and 10 yds passing...but had 28 points. See what im saying? He who holds the mojo holds the power. This team is destine to the NC. Sorry if you dont like it. But it's the truth. Like Auburn last year, this team has " it ".

6. Please God. No rematch. Thinking about how ESPN will anoint Alabama to play LSU in the NC game is a friggin disgrace. I think everyone should boycott the game. I'm serious. It's crazy to think that Alabama, who has done nothing to deserve playing in the NC, will. This team has done nothing. Are they a very good team? Yes they are. I have said many times that I think Alabama is a tremendous team. But that has nothing to do with whether this team should play for the BCS national championship game or not.

7. I cant wait to watch the game, but it looks to me that either Wisconsin pulled the rabbit out of the hat again. Or MSU garbage the bed again. Either way, Russel Wilson has made the difference this year. This guy is a good QB. If Wisconsin could have just stopped 2 hail marry's, what might have been.

8. Why does the Big East get the Automatic bid? Really? W.V is pretty good team. But lets just be honest here. The Big East is and has been very below average for a long time. I think W.V will play Clemson in the Orange bowl it seems. If you want my first thoughts. I think Clemson wont punt. I think for the most part Clemson will score whenever they want.

9. Just so everyone knows, The bowl challenge is ON  . Ive just been a little busy. More details will be out in a day or two about the bowl challenge. Everyone just stay patient and calm. It's going to happen, I promise.

10. Wow. The regular season is gone. It just seems like yesterday I was doing my college football season breakdown. A lot of good times, a lot of bad times. The season was great. Every season is great. I hate it's about over. My Dad always told me soak it up, these are called the good times. Enjoy every day you have, it's just a game. I encourage everyone to " soak it up " It is just a game, but a game we all love so dearly. Stay focused for the upcoming bowl season. Money is to be made, bowl season is a great way to cash in. I hope all of you enjoyed the Ten Things we Learned this season as much as I have writing them.

MSU outplayed Wisky for most of the way after spotting Badgers another 14 pt 1st Q lead..

Wilson made a couple great throws into double coverage that were caught in the 2nd half and MSU got a running into the kicker penalty with just under 2 min left down 3... the punt was returned to the 5 yard line of Wisky, so MSU would have had the ball, 1:40 on the clock, 1st and goal from the 5, down 3...  instead Wisky got 1st down, 3 knees.. game over..

It pains me as a college football fan to see what a joke the Heisman trophy has become. If I had to select 5 players to go to New York they would be

Collin Klein, RG3, Monte Ball, Tyron Mathieu, and Trent Richardson

I agree that the Heisman Trophy award is, and has been for a very long time, a joke.  The award is suppose to go to the most outstanding player regardless if your team is 12 & 0 or 0 &12.  The record of the team for whom the player plays should have absolutely no bearing on who wins the award.

That said Tyron Mathieu doesn't belong anywhere near a Heisman Trophy.  First he is not even the best player on his own team (and it's really not close).  Second he was suspended for a game for failing a drug test.  Third, his criminal conduct in clothes-lining Dre Kirpatrick should have earned him at least a 2-game suspension from nutless SEC Comissioner Mike Slive.  Slive continues to encourage dirty play in the SEC by his repeated inaction in cases of flagrant conduct.

2. Bill Snyder gets overlooked constantly. What he's done there has been nothing short of miraculous.

4. Griffen will be in NY........& I hope he wins it. I judge a player by how his team would look w/o him, & there's no doubt that Baylor wouldn't be where they are w/o him..............should Luck, Montee Ball &, RG3 as finalist.

6. Yes, I was getting nauseous listening to the espn heads already planning the rematch after Ok. St. destroyed Oklahoma. We can only hope the majority of voters will think for themselves & do what's right.............no team with a D1-AA team on their schedule that sat at home while another team played (& won) a game for their conf. title.

 8. The BE has proven over many years they don't deserve an auto-bid.............funny thing, I'm not sure they'd care if it was taken away. That conf. is about 2 more defections from disbanding, at least for football.

Congrats to your boys..........convincing win yesterday.

Great writeups as usual Boom and I agree that there will be money to be made in the bowl season.  Do you typically do as well in the bowls as you do in the regular season?  Someone with your knowledge of the game should probably do well in these special matchups!

RGIII throws the best deep ball I have ever seen in my 20 years of watching cfb. His scrambling ability reminds me a bit like Vick. Top 10 NFL pick if you ask me.

I quit having any respect for the Heisman Trophy the year they "stole" the award away from Payton Manning and gave it to Charles Woodson because of one int. he made against Ohio St. ESPN then demanded all week before the award that voters give it to Woodson. I have refused to even care about the award ever since then.

Strong work this week Boom.

Put RG3 on Bamas or LSU teams and they average 70 ppg. Put Richardson on Baylor it it doesnt change much.....

All your thoughts are dead on. I really hope Clemson beats the garbage out of WV if that matchup happens (best matchup for Clemmy)..

Would LOVE to see LSU vs Ok St in the championship game. I think LSU would win, but Oregon and Bama already had their chances and failed.....

You forgot that the SEC needed Mizzou and Tex A&M to make themselves a super conference.....

Good times this season Boom. A new class of haters and whiners have come and gone. Lost their money and interest. However, as you well know, 2012 will bring a whole new bunch of tards. I fully expect to see you here doing what you do and pissing off these little girl every week....lord knows I cant do it alone (although I try!)

The bowls are a different animal. One must watch the bowls and there characteristics for years to get a feel on how certain games will be played. A lot of factors in bowls....

I have said it a million times now.. I'm glad you brought it back up. RG3 throws one the best deep balls I have ever seen. The guy is a tremendous passer. He is a great player and people just dont understand how good this kid really is....

He is at BAYLOR people

He is a tremendous football player and a leader of MEN.

One of the better QB at the college level I have ever seen.

Boom...let me apologize for the acts you witnessed last night. Every game, home or away, people have stated how hokie fans are always polite and welcoming to Lane Stadium and elsewhere. We do get pretty pissed when we get straight up slammed but I think you had a few pricks around you last night. BOL this bowl season and congrats on your tigers. Liking their odds big time against WV

Loved the top 10 as always Boom... Hope you had fun at the game watching your boys kill it. Sadly, I was riding V. Tech -7 and knew it was over by the 3rd quarter. But, hats off to this young Tiger squad, 2011 ACC Champs man. They had a hell of a season, and I'll be firing away on them - Whatever vs. W.Virginia. Thanks again for all the great reading material and personal insight on the games. Helped me a lot this season, and made it a lot more enjoyable. BOL to you on your wagers and in life buddy

I had nothintg but great experiences with Hokie fans at the Georgia Dome a few years ago.  They were amazed how dressed up Alabama girls got for the game.  Where the Alabama girls were wearing primarily dresses and skirts, their girls were wearing t-shirts and jerseys.

Of course I've also watched many games a Lane Stadium so I've played the part of Hokie fan too.

It could have been just the ones I seemed to stumble on all day.

I seen one clearly pick a fight with a guy.

another cussed a man out for helping his wife before she almost fell down the stairs.

One guy asked me where I was from... I told him. Then he said well, too bad you drove this far to see your team get their fools whipped.

One woman asked me why when we do our Clemson chant....why do we pause so long at the end to say the  "N"..... she said, can yall not spell or something. I told her not sure if we can spell...but we sure as hell can count and the damn scoreboard looks pretty good from where I'm sitting.

Just a lot of bad stuff.

I'm certainly not saying all Hokie fans... you are clearly a outstanding guy and I thank you for representing Hokie nation well.
