I was shocked to see this line. I honestly don't know what to make of it.
I expected uga to be -4/5/6
I agree with posters above. It almost looks too obvious, which is always a reason for concern.
These 2 teams sure appear very evenly matched. Drox is also correct that Moseley is starting to round into form and taking control/leadership of the offense/team. He's faced 1 half vs florida, lsu, and ole miss. I'd say he should be getting really comfortable out on that field by now.
Moseley is slowly providing that downfield threat that works so well to open up the run game.
Thoughts from non-homers on this game?

Agree also. Saw v. early action 85% was on Aub too @ SI. Thinking UGA homer monies may push it up later this week after NMS beatdown. tigerfan- isn't your defense playing better too ?

fts, I can tell you this. Auburn has lost to clemson, lsu, and arkansas on the road. clemson early in the season Auburn got out to a 14 point lead and had a chance to make it 21, then they just collapsed and Clemson sent them packing.
Akansas game was good for a while until 2nd half and then Auburn made key mistakes and collapsed down the stretch.
Pretty much same for LSU. Played well early but made mistakes and a team like LSU makes you pay dearly. Blowout
A lot of those collapses can be attributed to youth, inexperience, & our qb situation.
Auburn did go on the road to S.Car and win for whatever that is worth in your analysis. That game Garcia was awful so if Shaw was QB don't know if AU gets that win on the road.
So since 2nd half of the Florida game Moseley has been the QB and he hasn't disappointed. Trotter's lack of arm strength was killing us on offense as teams were just stacking the line of scrimmage and begging us to throw deep. Was killing our run game. In addition our 2 top wr's, Blake and Reed, have been out for weeks. I don't think anybody had any idea just how much those 2 would be missed.
All are back now and you can see positive momentum on the offensive side of the ball. Moseley and Reed/Blake are stretching the field and opening back up the room game. This is very good news.
Defense has getting better all season long. Youth and injuries here again have taken their toll. AU uses a rotation on the d-line of all true freshman and sophomores. They have been taking their lumps and learning. Secondary playing freshman and sophs as well. Moments of brilliance combined with stupid mistakes.
AU's special teams are playing extremely well. Kicker is close to tops in the country in touchbacks. Punter has a huge leg in terms of hang time and decent range which helps tremendously in punt coverage as teams just don't get to return often.
UGA is obviously playing well here of late picking up that win over Florida. I will say I think after the 1st month of the season UGA's schedule has been very favorable. They don't have to play Bama, LSU, or Arkansas this year. Just not sure what kind of competition they've really faced other than Florida and they got 2 weeks to prepare for that one.

I'm not buying Georgia just yet, playing a soft schedule after losses to Boise and SC back 2 back. Narrowly beating a beaten up Florida with a 50% Brantley. I actually think Auburn can stay within the line, but georgia does get mitchell and their rb's back.

I think I saw many solid cappers, myself included if I may, not play Louisville last week b/c only an idiot would set a line of West Virginia -13.5 over UL...
Idk. but I think Georgia isn't all that impressive just yet. Actually, I think with the exception of a few teams, no one is all that impressive this year...I like dogs to continue and upset the middle tier through week 12.

Adding Auburn ML +390 medium, but not enough to hurt the bottom line if it losses considering the other two plays are so off in my favor. Worth a shot, either team could win as anyone who really nows this rivalry and circumstances realize...
