Guess i know which side you were on. Post number 6 hit the nail on the head. It is a magical moment and you're a genius in the first half when you put up 49, needing 2 td's to walk to a winning wager. But when the opposite happens in the 2nd half the games are fixed.
Bottom line, despite what the dude above said, the moose was sick but you were on the wrong side. What would you have said if I told you you could only get 12 points from UCLA, of which 2 would be a safety and 3 2nd half points against a defense that was up by about 5 td's for the greater portion of the game? Arizona executed PERFECTLY. The law of averages says that 1, this will end and 2, someone has to execute poorly. You can't piss about one half and cheer about the other. AGAIN, nothing can be scripted as such. Just like the topics were going for the Hawaii game last week, NOTHING can be THIS scripted. 20 people would have to be on the take.

If hand in the cookie jar is some metaphor for..."we have experts, stasticians, professionals and people who dedicate their lives to setting numbers, analyzing statistics and knowing more about the games than Joe Schmuck" then yes, I agree with your metaphor.
Also, why do people overlook the reason they started wagering in the first place? Are you seriously doing it for income? If not, then its for amusement. You set an amount that you care about but for me its not so much to actually get pissed off. Even high rollers didn't start out betting serious cash, i'm assuming. So relax...you still get utility from watching a product that is amusing and exciting.
