First play of the year....Unposted, but I thought Hawaii would lose at La Tech and go under the total (lose/lose), not cover at UNLV (win), cover vs Colorado (win), and go over the total at Washington (win).
Finished basketball plays on a pretty darn good run last year, can't wait till the Hawaii basketball season starts....they look pretty good....

For two weeks now, our media has flooded us in Hawaii with how much better SJS is this year.....This has certainly reached the players and coaches.
I saw them play last week against BYU, and I agree...unlike SJS teams in the past that just flat out quit, they were resilient and played tough to the end.
I have been to a few practices and talked to some of the staff in the last week. Getting ass kicked by probably the worst team in the country (UNLV), could be the best thing that happened to Hawaii this year. The practices have been intense and the team appears to be well prepared.
Hawaii brings the #1 defense and #1 offense in the WAC.....they should be able to hold SJS to more than the mid 20's.
Hawaii's offense has been on a roll, led by probably the most under rated QB in the country, Bryant Moniz......Hawaii has put up more than 500+ yards a game the last 2, and is averaging 37.2ppg. SJS defense is improved, but i do not see them matching up well with a quick strike offense like Hawaii. Hawaii should hit their average.....
- Hawaii has won 9 out of the last 10 against SJS by an average score of 35 to 21.
- Who was the HEAD COACH of SJS last year? Who is the Assistant Coach / Special Teams Coach for Hawaii this year? Dick Tomey. In a surprising move, where everyone thought he would retire, Dick Tomey returned to Hawaii and joined UH's coaching staff. ALL of the coaches and players on SJS are Dick Tomey's recruits. Sure, it may not mean much, but it defintely won't hurt....
- Home Coming? Home field? For who? It's probably more of a homecoming for Hawaii. Been over this before in previous posts, call up your friends in San Jose. Half of the stadium will be Hawaii fans. Next to Las Vegas, San Jose has the highest number of Hawaii transplants and second highest enrollment of Hawaii kids....Throw in the fact that Hawaii roster's second highest state of recruits is from California....Many players have noted that their friends and family will be coming to the game...
It won't be easy, but I think Hawaii covers.....
As always, make your own bet. If my post helps you win by riding or fading, then great.....

Any thoughts on the total? Or hawaii 1st half? I have yet to watch Hawaii or San Jose state play this year...the UNDER on USC last night scared alot of the total players today. I think these 2 teams can hit the OVER 28.5 1st half...your thought?
