those cub fans were cold blooded that night
would HATE to be that guy
whats everyone else think?
This is genuinely hard to watch. It should be required watching for all SEC fans, among others.
I was actually at a similar event - when a tennis ball thrown on the court cost Vandy an outright SEC hoops title. I've never felt a mood like that anywhere. The Vandy seating area is dark, so nobody really knew who threw it. I think a couple of rednecks near might have seriously hurt anyone they thought was to blame.

also the funny part about the whole thing was bartman and alou were not the only two trying to catch that ball. a bunch of other fans were reaching for the ball lol![]()

I think the 30-30 special was a way for the media (espn)...etc to try and say they where sorry for running this man's life into the ground.
They said he would not set for any interviews...or except $100,000 of dollars...etc. Looks like they feel guilty and they should, and he should sue the shit out of them, and not live in a shell and carry this till the day he dies.
If i ever seen anything more wrongly done to a human that done nothing more then anyone else would have done this was it.

i can remember that night like it was yesterday . I was with a bunch of my buddies drinking beers watching the game , they were all huge cubs fan's , i was the only sox fan there , as soon as that play happened i remember busting out laughing so hard and guaranteed them that the series was over , u could just feel it , it was so weird . but about bartman them idiot cub fans just needed someone to blame , moises did not need to act like a god damn idiot and set the tone for that epic collapse , cubs fans should villify the 9 jagoffs on the field who let the marlins score 8 runs in that inning , to me it was all very very comical.

You gotta feel for the guy. Like Buckner (i think) said. ANY person in that situation would have probably reached for the ball, as apparently it shows 4-5 other people reaching for it too. What i dont understand is what the 2 attorneys brought up. If a fan reaches INTO the field of play and interferes with the ball, the batter is OUT!!
Does this mean that the actual GOAT should be the 3rd base umpire for not calling it??
