#1 Posted: 9/15/2011 10:42:21 PM Only worry that OSU may have banged them up a little bit in a very physical game but it also showed Toledo has the athletes to play with ANYONE especially a finesse team like Boise. Boise strength is their Defense as they can stop the run and will have to against a very, very balanced Toledo attack that could have easily won at Ohio State and now are at home on National TV. Three TD's is wayy too many points versus a team that can run and pass. OSU shut down Toledo run attack which if Boise cannot Toledo has a slight chance to win this game. Boise run game is extremely stout and is the biggest reason why they win games. People overlook how good BS defense is but playing on the road anything can happen and when the game is on NT and is the highest ranked team to play at Toledo if Toledo can get any semblance of a running game they are playing on house money as Boise will always have all the pressure on them. If Toledo is able to run the ball this game goes down to the wire if they handle them like OSU did holding them to 46 yards which I doubt since they are at home than they will at least keep it within that huge number. Should be interesting next year when Boise looses K Moore and a ton of starters. Noone ever leaves Boise early like all the other big teams that have to deal with attrition because they leave early. I have heard Boise has a good qb coming in but just like Texas if you don't have an experience qb you will drop like a hammer. Toledo + the big number. |

#7 Posted: 9/15/2011 10:52:06 PM Also people saying Boise needs to put up big numbers is a retarded statement. They are on the road and will play their starters their entire game. Boise is not going to overlook a team that almost knocked off Ohio State at Ohio State. How many times has OSU lost at home in the last 10 years. I think Illini and State beat them at home and a couple more in ten years so for Toledo to be winning in the 4th qtr should give them plenty of confidence. BSU is coming off their one supposed hard game and then takes a couple of weeks off before they play a road game so they could be rusty but shouldn't be with a veteran squad. |

#8 Posted: 9/15/2011 10:57:55 PM Why would anyone want to lay 3 Touchdowns on the road on National TV where everyone plays at a higher level on top of that this is the BIGGEST GAME at TOLEDO EVER!!! Boise state will have to TOTALLY SHUTDOWN their running game or this will be decided in the 4th qtr. This game is not at Boise where Boise rolls over people. As long as Toledo is not banged up after playing such a physical game against OSU there is plenty of motivation so that won't be a problem even with a close loss. If anything they know they can not only play with BS but beat them. Not a big play for me because who knows how banged up Toledo truly is but will take 3 tds all day long with a team that can run and pass AT HOME on NT. It's Friday night and the only game is this one. |

#11 Posted: 9/15/2011 11:05:16 PM It will come down to if Toledo can run the ball effectively bottomline. BS lives and dies by stopping the run and are good at it but on the road crazy things happen. |

#13 Posted: 9/15/2011 11:16:45 PM any game where a backdoor cover is VERY POSSIBLE, laying big points; playing on the road, BS could cover it but its all about what are the odds. I just don't see Toledo getting blown out at home where its the only game on TV. Too many intangibles. Its a medium sized play for me because BS is coming in fresh versus Toledo may be a little banged up which is something you never really know. Toledo is not LSU where they have tons of depth so if any if their good players are dinged up will make a huge difference after coming off an almost historic win at OSU. Toledo has the players and are in a good spot not a great spot. |

#14 Posted: 9/15/2011 11:18:08 PM It just doesn't make sense that you are buying points for the easiest game on the board. I like toledo too though if I play. |

#15 Posted: 9/15/2011 11:20:01 PM are you Chinese?? do you speak English? haha u stupid. No game is a lock by any means especially on the road. Won't lose any sleep over the game either way. I do know that Thursday and Friday games are different just because both teams know that everyone in the country will be watching them. |

#16 Posted: 9/15/2011 11:21:59 PM It MAYBE be an easy cover and I always buy a pt to get it to 21; I would buy 1.5 or 2 thats stupid. The line is moving against Toledo but thats to be expected with most money coming in on Boise. |

#24 Posted: 9/16/2011 12:18:38 AM I like Boise as well. Toledo hasn't been any good since Bruce Gradkowski's rockets beat Big Ben's Redhawks many years ago.
This is a good spot to take Boise as well, with Toledo coming off a competitive cover against OSU. Otherwise the line would be even more ridiculous looking. |

#25 Posted: 9/16/2011 12:28:06 AM Kellen Moore is a very good quarterback. He can light it up. Remember he was a pre-season Heisman candidate.
