I Specialize in SEC football, you will see I make some picks other than the SEC, I welcome all input, insight, and knowledge you can provide.
For this thread, I will not welcome stupid behind arguments over what conference is best, haters of any kind. I wish this thread to be a place where we all work together to beat the living garbage out of the books. We shall endeavor to do our homework and build our Bank Rolls for the Bowl season which we all know is easy pickings. So please, come on board, as a team and let's whoop some behind!!

I started a blog, being new at posting and will continue to put my threads there, however, I will keep this thread up and running throughout the regular season.

! Unit =  $100.00, or as I call them, 1 Fun ticket, my pilot calls them groupers, but what can I say, he's a coonass, they have their own way of putting' things, God Bless 'em.

2 units = $200.00 and so on.

Best of luck to all and here we go.

had Wisconsin -35                   2 units            L

     Wisconsin ov/56                 2 units            W

        MS St     -30                   5 units            W

Friday like, Baylor  + 4'             1 unit             W

Sat     like   S. FL  +10'             3 units           W

        Georgia      ov/ 50'            2 units           W

         Hawaii          -6                 3 units           W

adding for sunday nite:

     SMU             +16                   3 units

     SMU            ov/54'                3 units

I've been sitting on the sidelines watching and gaining really good insight from all of you guys for several years, decided to get off the bench and try and return the favor. Would like to welcome everyone to my thread. I got on a few others, but didn't post so won't count 'em except wed. when I go meet my man. Thanks again and let's all whoop up on these books this year.

Miami vs Terps:

Miami, could be better off w/o Harris, Morris, just lost out on the starting job, he won a couple of big ones last year with last min. heroics, including a 26-20 win over Maryland, he's also prone to throw it to the wrong jersey.  I'll give Maryland a defensive TD based on this. And then you have Danny O'Brien, who went 9 for 28 with 134 yds against Miami last year. On the other hand, Miami's D had like 18 INT's last year, so give them a Defensive TD also. Weather isn't as bad as talking heads are making it out to be, no wind (7-10mph) 40% chance of rain, it's raining now, so how do we play this, rain causes a mixed kick or a no kick, resulting in 0 points, or it gets a little sloppy and we get a TD out of the weather, no points for weather. Terps QB O'Brien is better than he showed last year and should come out looking for revenge and will move it down the field thru the air. Maryland has player suspensions also, resulting in freshmen running backs for the Terps, think they will pass to set up the run. Miami's O'line and D'line is still the same; big and strong, Terps return a good O'line and starters on both sides of the ball. Both new coaches so kinda even there, give the edge to the other coach from one of many "U"'s U as in U Conn. Line movement is basically home field 3 adjusted for suspensions at Miami. Biggest loss to either team is standout LB Sean Spence of Miami. All that said, I still like the Terps small, but really like the over, it's the ACC, not the SEC, so just my two cents:

Maryland                 ov/45'                         3 units

Maryland   -3
Maryland  ov/45'           Parlay                    1 unit

BOL to all

You are off to a great start.  Congratulations and good luck the rest of the way.

Given that you specialize in the SEC, what are your thoughts on LSU-MSU.  Right now, I will either be on LSU or nothing, but still thinking through it.

I also think Clemson is the play against Auburn on a side note.

1st look I would have to agree with you on both, definitely LSU, I'm an Auburn homer, so don't bet them much, though I wish that wasn't true last year. I will bet the totals often in their game and I think again the score will be over 56, but I haven't even looked at this total yet. Just doing my homework now. I will say that LSU/MS State often works out like the Auburn/Al game, it is a highly unrecognized rivalry. Though with the last weeks opponents being whom they were, I think I really like this LSU game, and believe the public will pile on it, because of the Auburn game in which MS St was defeated. I will have an opinion with my reasoning for what its worth on this (LSU game) probably tonite or tom.

Also been watching your plays out that way and look forward to welcoming your Aggies into the SEC....

Here we go, week 3 NCAAF selections:

LSU               -3
LSU          ov/48'     parlay                 1 unit       entertainment only

Tennessee     +9   buy the hook        10  units

S. Carolina  ov/55'                            10 units

Auburn        ov/59                              5 units

Whisky         -16'                               3 units

FSU            ov/55                             1 units

Stanford        -10                               1 units

Okl. St.        -13'                                1 unit

stats, injuries, weather, youth, experience, depth, luck and streaks considered. Lots of homework on all. As you can see, I have 3 SEC plays I like, and like Elvis says; "I like it, I like it a lot". Yes he's still alive, as will be the Auburn Tigers win streak Saturday afternoon. I learned a long time ago, you never, EVER bet on a streak to end!

WAR DAMN EAGLE!!!!       KICK "EM IN THE BUTT BIG BLUE!

BOL to all this week

Locked on LSU -3 and like the others.

I can get Tenn. @ +9.5 on BookMaker or 5Dimes now so hoping for the +10. Willing to wait a little while.

Wisky line is probably not getting any better so will pull the trigger on that. That's a pretty good team with R. Wilson at QB. I think your "streak" idea is generally sound and Wisc. wins the 2nd half by 14 or more. 42-20 or something close.

I'm liking Wyoming +9.5 @ BG a whole lot but may wait that one out awhile. If it goes down then no big deal. Still gonna get more than a TD on 2 even teams.

I don't see buying pts. to be good over a whole season but right now I have :

TX. -3 and LSU -3 and OHIO U. -3. and thinking about New Mx.St.-3. If your gonna buy the pts. then 3 would be the place to do it.  Hope all those -3's don't bite me.

I live in Ms and that's where my local is, I play w/5 dimes some, would appreciate any input on best offshore service. Funny thing is I am in Costa Rica where 5 dimes is, but down on the Pacific cost and have a hard time funding from within Costa Rica, unless I go to the city, which is a hopper flight of 40 minutes, and San Jose is a good place to spend the weekend playing games. My local seems to factor in the  SEC homers so I am hoping to get the LSU up just before game time. Just posting as early as possible for anyone interested. Buying the hook is not always bad, especially as you say on the 3' and 7', I normally buy it down, damn hook will cost you on these two important #'s

Whisky definitely looking like a strong team all year, and Russel is a lot like Cam was to Auburn last year. Other streaker is a loser in Memphis, haven't looked at their schedule for next week, but playing against them no matter the line nor team.

Can't add to your other plays other than BOL and thanks for the input.

Just a note on LSU/MS St- it is a HUGE rivalry and I do think LSU whips them, but only playing it to have a little interest in a game tom. night, naturally I would be a fan of MS St to put an SEC Loss on LSU in west conference, but think LSU wins by 10.

The streak idea has worked for 20+ years, when you get off the wagon, you just gotta stay off until lines are adjusted again.

Get that
