Look at how many ranked teams Bama has to play vs the Ducks. Oh they also play is the best conference (far and away) and Bama actually has a Defense. BTW, in case you havent noticed, I am telling you Bama will beat Auburn in Tuscaloosa in the Iron Bowl this year and go to the SEC Championship....
oh yeah, the Pack ten doesnt even have to play a championship game. I would love to see Oregon and their pathetic Defense play in the SEC vs all the methodical coaches, who would just pound the ball up their throat, keeping the Ducks Offense off the fied and eating clock time...not to mention, they might actually play some real teams.
Bama and OR will square off, and Saban and his very well balanced and well disciplined team will win again...hell i think Auburn might take them too.

hey Clown, how many Pro Bowlers went from the sec last year vs. the pac 10? when you figure that out then you'll figure out how to keep your mouth shut!

ooooooh, a little sensitive. i must have hot a sensitive spot OR THE TRUTH? Explain to me what the NFL has anything to do with college?
I will help you out...NOTHING. SEC is so hard the teams canabilize each other. Again, lets talk about how many ranked teams the Ducks have faced, bc they would never make it through the SEC undefeated with that horriblle D.
I am not sure if you noticed, but we are talking college football. let me know if i need to help you with anything else; except you can ask your mom to wipe your azz for you tough guy.

Oregon would murder Alabama.I would rather see Auburn play someone besides Oregon in the championship game too."Horrible D" you do realize they're number 1 in the country in takeaways?

no i didnt, thanx for the tidbit though.
realistically both SC teams moved the both with ease all over them - but bad coaching on their parts help Auburn win. UK only lost by 3 at UK 37-34, Ark put up 43 on them and at Ole miss, the rebs put up 31.
Hell look at their schedule...only road games: won at Missicrappy state 17-14, won by 3 at UK, and beat ole miss 51-31...the rest of their games; Clemson, USC, Ark, LSU and UGA were all home games.
Auburn is not as good on the road...so far. and i truly dont think they win the Iron bowl at bama.
And no sir, ducks would not crush Bama. they might win, but would never crush them Saban is too good of a coach, and with that sick 2 headed monster in richardson and ingram, they would wear down OR's D all the while keeping the Duck's O off the field

i would love for Auburn to face TCU or Boise...the size and strength alone fo Auburn's men would physically beat them up and wear them down to nothing.
Thats why if TCU and Boise played in the SEC they wouldnt any better then a 2-4 loss team. Even the SEC's bad teams physically just take a toll on the human body and that is the biggest thing these non BCS teams dont have to deal with.
Hell could you imagine if Auburn, LSU, Bama, etc played in that conference with Boise or TCU. ALL their players would be healthy and well rested come the bowl season.

I'm not trying to take anything away from TCU or Boise. I believe both to be excellent teams and can compete with anybody on any given day. I just can't say that they're the best teams in the country without hardly playing anyone, and I'm not so sure they should get to jump a two loss sec team. I would love to see Auburn, LSU, or Oregon play their schedules.

Do you watch football chef....Bama has no chance to get to the championship game to many things have to happen for them to get in....they are not that good this year

all u here is about how good sec defenses are and how they will roll over pac 10 teams. but can those slow sec defenses keep up with the best offensive conference in the country, dont think so. thats why sec teams wont come to the west coast. NO SEC TEAM CAN SCORE WITH A PAC 10 TEAM. GAME IS ABOUT SCORING POINTS.

raffy......again do you watch football it seems that a few on this thread do not. The spead of the SEC defense is the difference. They are big and fast......hence championships......We will see at the end of the year though......Auburn can score with any of them to keep up too Arkansas could too. There is no arguement there

SEC defenses haven't been that good for a few years. Look at all the 51-31 games there have been lately in the SEC.

yes, you are correct, i posted this before last weeks loss to LSU. I sort of disagree with you, they are still very good, and i still would match them with anybody in the country, but something you are taking in to account is the fact that they have a target on their back. As a national champion, every time you face a team the following year, you r going to get their very best effort, propbably their best effort of the year.

chef shutup, its people like you that make my SEC loo bad...you completely contradicted yourself between this week and last. Oregon would demolish bama. The auburn/oregon game would be awesome because america lies offense, and that game would finish 72-71. Oregons defense is all around below average. Auburn would massacre them up front, but would get roched in the secondary. Oregon wouldnt come close to stopping Cam, not even close. it would be a great game to watch if you like scoring. thats the matchup i want to see. not boring bama with boring saban doing boring things

You are partially correct. We cant score with some pac 10 teams. but we wouldnt need to. the lineman are so much bigger faster, stronger they just punish the opposing human body. When you couple that with a whole season of dealing with that, why would you schedule out of conference games vs high quality ooponents...in this case the pac 10. Seriously think about it, why would you play out of conference games vs teams that are ranked in the top 15-20? Very, very few big time teams ever do that from any conference. it just doesnt make sense.
SEC is a bit down this year, had Bama not lost to LSU i would say they were the best conference, but realistically between the Pac 10 and the SEC, top to bottom of both conferences, you are dealing with the most talented conferences in the country. Pac 10 might have a slight edge this year, but the real truth is, between both conferences, the teams canabilize each other so their records dont reflect how good some of the teams are in both conferences..ESPECIALLY IN THE SEC.

I make the SEC look bad?
The only thing that matters at the end of the day is the "W." Saban is a winner where ever he goes, and whether or not you personally like him or his style of football is irrelavent. Or whether the General public likes his style of football is completely irrelevant...becuase he wins. that is what matters. Hell, he was the only coach that wanted Drew Brees after his shoulder surgery when he left the Chargers (except the saints). the morons in the Dolphins office told Saban: "no" and look what Brees has become and done of late. Thats why he left the NFL and went back to the SEC- and this is the real truth you might not know.
The man recognizes talent, gets the most out of his players, and using his style he produces winners. Hell if Bama only finish with 2 losses this year in the SEC, do you truly think that is really that bad?
Screw TV ratings...how many champions has the SEC produced in he last 6-8 years, not to mention top Bowl wins. I will agree, it is not like the pass happy-no defense Pac 10, or some of the Pass happy- no defense leauges that Colt McCoy and Bradford played in...THATS WHY THEY NEVER WON THE CHAMPIONSHIP.
So yes it isnt as exciting to you, because all you care about is some kid chucking the ball down the field to fast skill players with hands. There is so much more going on in a game that you are not even noticing; so much more.

i go to college in the south and have the pleasure of seeing guys like sec_chef first hand all the time... their sheer ignorance and stupidity reassures of the money you're spending on an education. not saying the majority of the people from the south are like this, but theres a nice little chunk of racist, ignorant losers in the south that are an embarrassment to our country
