Cinn passed for over 500 yards on SF last week. Even if Dodd does nothing Savage could come in. I just cant pick a winner here. With both of these teams you just never know what you are going to get from week to week. Bad teams to pick from. Rutgers plays well against this team.
I just see a higher type game and think the O/U should be 50. Makes 42 look real good.

By the way Dodd is listed as questionable but was made the starter by schiinao. I would look for savage to come in if they fall behind more than 2 tds. Both are not going to play well as long as the OL stinks. I read where they went to a spread off. and it does not work with this line.
Hopefully they will go back to a pro style offense and savage again. Changing was a mistake and put too much pressure on these guys. A kid like savage could be a pro if he has the talent and plays for a good team. Schiano could ruin it for him.
I would transfer if i were savage to a team with the right offense. Miami, Texas, and a few others come to mind.

I don't want to sound like a jerk here, Tom Savage is a talented athlete and everything, but I never thought the kid was that great of a quarterback. Tom went to high school with my little brother, they weren't friends or anything, but played football together (even though Tom's parents held him back 2 years in school so he would have a physical advantage over the rest of the kids in his grade). This kid reminds me of someone who was before my time, Todd Marinovich. It seemed like this kids parents wanted him to be a pro quarterback since birth and it's not what he wants. Physically, he is built great for a QB, but when I watched him play in high school, i never thought much of him, never understood what all the big hype was. Sure he was good, but people talked like he was gonna go on to Penn State and bring them back to national championship status. I was suprised to hear Rutgers, because back when he committed, they had guys like Ray Rice, Leonard a stout D but i didnt get the impression he could play with, or really wanted to play with those guys. Just a kid who looked passive-aggressive is all im really saying....
I hope Tom savage comes back next season for rutgers, starts and does really well, i just can't see it happening. It's weird though how you watch someone play before anyone knows them, then a couple years later you see his name on a gambling site being discussed by people all over the nation.
Someone above mentioned girls and booze and thats most likely true, i think he's a guy who wants to enjoy his college experience and not be forced into anything. Maybe a 1-AA school would fit him better or even go D-ll.
