Troy vs Middle TN St......

A few notes:

QB Dasher back from 4 game suspension for MTSU.  He is a dual threat, the preseason sunbelt conferenc player of the year, and obviously is a huge impact to MTSU.

Tonight is "blackout night" in MTSU, all fans will wear black, and team will wear black (only once this year).  They expect record breaking attendance tonight.

Troy has won this rivalry 4 years in a row.

Troy starts a true freshman QB.

MTSU leads the sun belt in rushing, a daunting stat for a bad defense who now has to face a passing threat.

MTSU ranks 2nd in the sun belt in defense.

I think you can tell where I am going wtih this.....

This is the best comment in the thread thus far.  Can't hype up their rushing game unless you include the 2 shitty defenses it came against.

Also, a few comments.  Troy was out gained at Okie St by 150yds and only lost by a FG...and their 1pt loss at UAB came against a very similar offense & QB they will see tonight.

*MTSU's 2 losses came against Memphis (Pathetic) and Minnesota (Pathetic - seeing as they lost to South Dakota)

*Also, Troy's defensive stats are off on the fact that Okie St racked up 522 on them....if they got to face 4 essential cupcakes like MTSU has done thus far...their defensive stats would stand out as well.

Not "hyping" anything.

Wonder why I usually dont post reasoning behind picks?  Because you can make a case on both sides of everything. 

FACT:  MTSU rushing attack leads the sunbelt

REASON:  They have played shitty teams, they havent had a QB so they have rushed a lot, they suck donkey balls but have been lucky  - OR - they actually have a very good ground game, their offensive line is an experienced group and they have good RB's.

Take your pick.  Thats why people are on both sides, and why I stay away from posting anyting about why I pick a certain side.
