Week 1 Money (Final Card - new thread)

that other thread is way too long for my liking, would rather keep it simple

1. Texas (LARGE MONEY)
2. Hawaii
3. East Carolina
4. Utah ML
5. Northwestern
6. Clemson
7. Miss St
8. Florida
9. Georgia
10. Minnesota
11. SMU

dropped Oregon (still lean them but had to limit my plays to 11 total and they were the lowest grade)

Texas is for 3 units, the other 10 plays are for 1 unit

card is final, no changes will be made

The SMU game has been in the back of my mind for 3 weeks. Bookmaker had it @-14 earlier this evening.  Probably have to play it at those odds. Will wait a day for that key +14.5, though.

Thinking about some 1st H bets on teams like Ohio St, Auburn, and Geo. all home openers with better opponents on deck. If I'm coaching them I would try for the big lead early and sit my starters in 4th quarter.

What do you think of the Miss St U53? Their defense should be stout and I dont know if Memphis will score....

I guess I would like the under in the Miss St game, I'm picturing a 38-7 type of game, that current line is there for the taking in my opinion, I like the confidence coming out of StarkVegas this year and I like their coach, besides the boys from Memphis are poor at best

I've taken a bit of a new approach this year, hammering openers and playing variances I have rather than betting mostly based on spots and feel...

Mich St -20
Florida -32
Notre Dame -9.5
TCU -9
Oklahoma -28
Texas -25.5
Georgia -25
Nebraska -32.5
Clemson -21
Troy -13.5
Texas Tech -10.5

Needless to say, despite the ridiculous chalk, very happy with the lines I've gotten...better than the current lines by almost a FG on average

• Texas minus anything 30 or less
• Hawaii plus 20 or more
• ECU plus 7.5 or more
• Utah at 2 or less
• Northwestern I wouldn't bet at current line
• Clemson I wouldn't bet at current line (I got early & bought down to a number you could only get in a tease now)
• Miss St at 21 or less
• Florida at 35 or less
• Georgia at 30 or less
• Minnesota at 2.5 or less
• SMU at 14 or more
