ON SPECIAL TEAMS BAMA LIKE ON OFFENSE AND DEFENSE IS LEAPS AND BOUNDS AHEAD OF TEXAS. JAVIER ARENAS IS A GAME CHANGER.

TEXAS HAD TROUBLE WITH A TOUGH DEFENSIVE NEBRASKA TEAM...WELL BAMA IS EVEN BETTER ON DEFENSE AND ACTUALLY HAS AN OFFENSE TO POUND TEXAS INTO SUBMISSION.  REMEMBER THE GAME SUI HAD WELL DT TERRENCE CODY ISNT SO BAD HIMSELF IF I REMEMBER CORRECTLY..

I usually pull for the SEC, but these SEC offenses in the bowl season have been terrible against teams not known for defense...

and is it possible Alabama's D isn't as good as advertised but play no good offenses in the SEC this year? Even Florida's offense was not as good as it has been in the past couple of years.  Isn't this the same Alabama team who was known for defense last year and got balled up by Utah from the Mountain West? 

Are we all looking at the horrible game Texas played against Nebraska in the Big 12 Title game and thinking there is no way they're going to beat the team that beat Florida? But now Nebraska shut out AZ and Suh is probably going to be the #1 draft choice...maybe McCoy should get a pass after all!

Last time Texas was in the Rose Bowl they were the underdog against a USC team with 2 Heisman Trophy awardees (Leinart and Bush) and we know how that turned out.

We know what Florida's D brings as they have proven it over the past couple of years. Alabama still has something to prove. If they can shut down Texas and win that game then I will be a believer but I think this game is within a FG.

No Estes, Florida has proven they have one of the best D's in the land 2-3 years consistently and their D has won 2 Nat'l titles. They are the exception.

Va Tech is a better than average D, but their D this year is hard to measure due to the weak offensive teams they've seen i.e. Marshall, Duke, Miami, NC State, UNC, VA, and Maryland.
