MONDAY--- W/L (3-5) In my mind a day like this is completely unacceptable. My betting technique was rash and impulsive. I hope your paying close attention because I may never drop this much knowledge again. I focus primarily on the NFL and college football for a reason. Football is too emotional of a game, its too short of a season for you not to get 100% from your teams players. There is very little room for variables that cannot be equated when making a pick. The NBA, NHL and MLB is quite different. Seasons are so long, contracts are so big and so garaunteed from a players perspective it is very easy to take an occasional night off. Christ in the NBA when a spread is over 5 points you never know what one of these refs is going to do at the end of the game during garbage time. There are too many variables that really cant be accounted for. Vegas' advantage is far greater in the NBA because of this. NBA is more valuable during playoff time when the refs are under a nationwide microscope and you know your going to get 100 percent from each player. The playoffs are so much different because you get everyones best. This is when its easiest to call games because you have two teams on an even keel variable wise. I made the mistake of taking 2 NBA games and a hockey game I shouldnt have. Finished with a 2-1 record in football no suprise there.. Im utterly furious at my self for making the decision of playing 8 games in 4 different sports last night... undoubtably a poor decision
