why you like florida here, I absolutely love cincy getting 10. Where's the motivation for florida?
My God man, have you watched Cincy play at all this year? This might be the worst undefeated team in organized football history!!! This game is a complete mis-match!!! Florida will be ablr to pretty much name the score in this game.
I'm not sure why Notre Dame thinks Brian Kelly is going to cure their defensive woes!!!
The Gators win this by at least 3 TDs and probably more!!! Next to Bama, this is the easiest play on the board.

Love Florida. Would love them more if they would replace Addazio as OC I'm by no means a UF fan but it is frustrating to see an offense as talented as that struggle like they have been against decent defenses.
btw Jimmy, Hawaii '07 was much worse than Cincy. Gilyard is phenomenal. But they can't play D, especially against the run. Tebow should have a field day running against that puny Cincy D.

Absolutely RB!!! Virginia Tech getting points last year versus Cincy was my biggest bet of the bowl season (actually tied with Florida game for the biggest bet). I LOLed when I saw that line!!!
Despite the results of the SEC Championship game, Florida is still the number 2 team in the country, and the #3 team is far behind. This game is a complete mismatch from A to Z.

gcn - yeah was ready to go against the loser of FL-AL similar to last year with Utah vs Bama, however like what Meyer has been saying (that FL will be ready, will be important to finish strong) whether he can get that to carry to players or not another matter, plus team already aware what happened to Bama last year. Keeping in mind Cincy was actually closer to championship game themselves only one second away, along with Kelly probably leaving, or at least not closing the door as rest have....as Fred Sanford would say 'you big dummy'...directed at Kelly, not Cincy backers - GL bowl season gcn
troe - have a lot of respect for Iowa over the years since they always give good effort and tough defense and not against them often. Although Iowa is generally good (sometimes dominant) against the run I do believe GT can run on the Iowa along with occasional big play to Thomas, with Hawkeyes giving up 148, 195 and 229 to AZ, MI and Ohio St and yellow jackets running it considerably better than that group, BOL bowl season bud

No way in hell Cincy will be able to outscore Florida. I'll bet you Gilyard hasn't seen a Joe Hadan before. Cincy simply doesn't have the talent that Florida has, and you better believe Tebows gonna put on a show. For those that say "ohhh Utah beat Bama last year blah blah blah", please put your money on Cincy so I can get Florida -less than 10 and buy a new house with the winnings.

Haha i agree mr Barkely.
Florida will roll over the bearcats. With only 1 returning starter on defense and Brian Kelly leaving for notre dame they have no chance

Cincy's gonna score, and they'll be way happier to be there. Sometime that counts for a lot. Sometimes, not so much. I would have made that line smaller, but what the hell do I know.

wahoo - agree on ACC defenses being pitiful with some of the Clem and GT scores lately, used to think Clemson had decent one had until last few, current FSU and MiaFL defenses should not even be allowed to wear same uniform as teams of 5-10 yrs agomight end up reducing GT if Stanzi plays although either way both teams should score some, BOL bro
maine - what's happening buddy good to see you around, think that one comes down to mostly FL outlook and whether Meyer and Tebow can motivate them to play hard, as mentioned this morning I think the Kelly situation is about to unravel and be a distraction similar to other teams in past years, should be interesting matchup, GL this bowl season
Florida 45 Cincinnati 20 - could be obvious challenge for Meyer to convince FL to bring 100%, however based on some of his comments and last game for several leaders, it may not turn out to be repeat of Alabama last year (who also lost best OL and never even pretended to be interested in the game), for all their excitement other than Pitt Cincy has no wins against top 20 teams over last two years (losing 7-20 VT and 26-52 to OU) and defense fading last few games
Alabama 30 Texas 13 - hard to see any Bama letdown here being so close to first championship in awhile, and probably the Utah game (although meaningless) may keep them that much more alert to an upset, Horns offense mostly contained by the better defenses this year and no running game other than if McCoy takes off and Tide defense quick enough to contain that, Bama offense should be able to generate their points with balanced attack and having faced tougher defenses at times during the season, could be similar to FL-OU last year with eventually Bama wearing them down
Ga Tech 34 Iowa 21 - GT defense not overwhelming so Iowa should score some particularly if Stanzi is back, still Hawkeyes only over 24 pts in 4 of 12 games and 17-19 TD-INT, key question is how much Iowa can contain GT offense, while good against the run hawks gave up 195 and 229 to Mich and Ohio St, GT scored 24+ in 11 of 12 games, on Iowa side is having played well in bowls specifically recalling games few years ago against Texas and LSU as dogs so doubt they get completely blown out however willing to take shot against short number

Iowa was extremely overrated this year...and will get exposed once again in there bowl game
Again? Iowa is not like other big ten teams, they show up to play bowl games. They have won 3 of 5 and one of the losses was to Florida in one of the worst officiated game I've ever seen. The other was two years ago agaisnt a Texas team who was way better then Iowa. We played them very very tough as a big underdog. We also dominated SC last year.
Nostra- I'd be careful on GT. I am an Iowa homer, but here is a quick look at this game.
Iowa has weeks to prepare for the triple option which very helpful versus one week. Iowa's defensive cordinator has been around forever and has seen every type of offense known to man and will know how to prepare the defense. Our front 7 has great patience and our ends have pretty good speed.
Georgia Tech or Johnson do not have a good bowl history or when they have extra time to prepare. Those two combined have 7 straight losses.Do you remember the ass whipping they got last year to LSU (38-3). Or the year before that 40-28 to Fresno State. Or the year before 38-35 to West Virginia. Or the year before 38-10 to Utah. Also Johnson lost his last 3 bowl games at Navy before coming over. Also, the bye week they had this year was between Duke and Georgia. As you probably remember, they lost to Georgia.
As for this game, Iowa will be fully healthy. Stanzi has returned to practice, Wegher and Robinson will be fine everything coming to better. Still uncertain about Dace Richardon, he's trying to get another year of eligibility so he might sit this out if healthy. Other then Dace, I believe we will be at full strength. Also, once GT gets into the red zone I believe they will have to settle for a lot of FG and not TD. Iowa's defense is stout in the red zone and once the safties are able to pinch in closer to the line and able to stop the option better. I think the under would be the better play here then GT.

hawkeye - nice breakdown on the matchup, yeah I recall the LSU and Texas games well among others, was just reading Stanzi is probable and may or may not reduce, since number appears heading up it should not be difficult to offset part of it later if need be (or possibly even catch small middle), GL with bowl season
adding
Nevada -13 (hook)
Tennessee +4.5
Bowling Green PK
Oklahoma -9.5
Air Force +5
Florida St +3
should be enough damage for tonight, waiting on line movement on a couple and checking out some totals
