LSU/Tulane hasent gone under that number in about 10 games and 15 years. Since 93 I believe, but not sure you will get that number when you try to wager. Wish I used Pinny. GL

War, and correct me jmb9 if I'm wrong he is taking the 44 points and the over as two seperate bets, so worse case he would cash one ticket and lose the other, hoping to hit both say 49-10 score gets both tickets cash, nice thinking outside the box.

If Ohio St is to cover the spread, they'll have to do it in the 1H, cause you can be damn sure, Tressell will run, run, and run some more in the 2H.
You have not watched all of Ohio State's games this year. Tressel has routinely kept Pryor in during blow out games and has his passing in these games as well. He wants to get TP as much playing time/reps as possible. Look at the end of the Illinois game when Ohio State was up 23-0 with less than 3 minutes left. Pryor was in the game and threw a td pass when they were on the goal line.
When Bauserman comes in you better believe Tressel is going to let him throw the ball all over the field. Bauserman has gotten little time to play and it's important that he does considering if Pryor goes down this season will be a WRECK.
This game is going to get very ugly...look for the Bucks being very close to covering this spread by half time.

Ohio State will have starters out early, very early this week. With Penn State coming up; he will just get them enough reps to maintain timing and then pull them. He will want fresh legs for next week. Under and NMS seems like the play IMHO

JT, no doubt your know that team a lot better than i do; but the PSU game is damn near the season for Buckeyes. IF they win that and beat Iowa, they get Rose Bowl; lose to either and it's probably over??? is that accurate??? why would he not rest his starters? why else would you schedule this cream puff this time of the year? your thoughts?

However lets remember Pryor is one game removed from his back to back inept quarterback performances. Tressel is not going to let Pryor play one half of a game then sit him the rest of the way. He will want this kid in at least through the third quarter IMO. So if he is going to have Pryor in do you think he is going to protect him with nothing but backups?
Defensively you will see a lot of starters rested...but Ohio State is LOADED defensively and I promise you that their second string will do just as well as their first string against this pathetic New Mexico team. I just think people are still under the belief that Tressel won't run up the score...and if you look at it Jim Tressel has done a fantastic job against the number throughout his career at Ohio State.
I also stated that once Pryor does go out don't expect the Buckeyes to just run the ball to kill the clock. Bauserman is the only other qb on this team with any talent and Tressel will want to get him some real game action. Look for Bauserman to have a couple TD passes as well in this game.
So even if you guys are right about the starters being taken out early, you will be wrong about how Ohio State will finish the game. I see them running a normal offense and throwing the ball well into the fourth quarter, so if you're hoping for a backdoor cover don't be surprised when the Buckeyes don't let off the gas for the entire duration of the game.
