Question

Liking the Under in this matchup. I would be very surprised to see UNC score double digits in this game. They are simply pathetic offensively and their QB cant make the throws when they are pressured. Factor in the home crowd on a Thursday Night and you are going to have one mean defense. With that being said, UNC has a very good rush defense. They can get beat in the air but I dont think the Hokies will look to do it very often. They will beat the hell out of the defense with Williams and run some clock. Basically what scares me about this play is the QB's giving defenses scores. Tyrod is certainly capable of throwing a bad pick and we all know VT will create a few turnovers in this one. Also worried that VT might open up the playbook, but wait....Stinespring is still the coordinator, so not too worried...

PEOPLE what is wrong with u this is the same UNC team that lost to
GA Tech 24-7 and Virginia 16-3! This 16.5 spread is WAAAAAAAAY to scary for me to wager. Eventhough UNC is having a horrible season they can rise up and cover that spread!

I made $1040 tonight on E. Carolina with a $400 wager. That was a no brainer as Memphis sucks and the spread was only -4.5. Be careful of the unc/vatech game!!!!!

Although this is a scary line at 16.5, my gut tells me to take VT in this one. I think there are some great reasons for a 2TD+FG cover on Thursday night.This is the VT team that beat Miami 31-7 and Boston College 48-14 at home. I think VT will win 37 - 13. My reasons....

The first reason is simple, VT has had 5 more days to prepare for this matchup. Their last game was 10/17, UNC's was 10/22

UNC lacks an offense that can sustain drives for TD's. They run a very basic offense and were held to 3 points by UVA, and 7 by GT on the road.

VT's Defense will create 3rd and long situations @ home with the crowd behind them, which could lead to turnovers when UNC tries to pass, which they have yet to prove they can do.

The time of possession should be dominated by VT due to 3 and outs.

If UNC is going to be punting all night, look for VT's special teams to set them up with great field position for much of the game.

There is always the possibility of a pick six from the D or a special teams TD from VT.

The VT Offense will be ready for this game against UNC and aren't taking them lightly. They have had more time to prepare after a poor performance @ GT.
