Never thought I'd be betting A&M this year.

Jerrod Johnson should do whatever he wants to the ISU secondary. His stats kinda impressed me...I haven't been keeping track of this team since I went agaisnt them in the Arky game. . I think ISU can run the ball this week, but if A&M's gets ahead by a couple scores, the pressure will be Arnaud to make plays.

I'm no longer boycotting road faves.

Cincy defense should get 1 or 2 INT's and outscore the SU offense. I just don't see any way Syr keeps it close.

on A&M as well, have not had them many times in recent years (probably good news), defense is pretty bad Johnson should have a good day and possibly some ISU letdown as well (although same could be said for A&M I guess) - BOL this week LJ

what an impressive year you are having in what I feel is a very difficult year to make money...GL this week...

I'm not so sure that Tech/A&M game wasn't truly fixed.  Something is way too fishy about that.  But then again, I guess we've learned alot more about Nebraska, maybe Techs win against them wasn't so impressive after all.  In the end, nobody is dominating.   Everybody is vulnerable, some just haven't gotten bit yet. but they will.  The best looking teams I saw yesterday were Texas, LSU, Cincy, Boise St, and TCU.  Did I forget anybody?

Not sure how good Iowa State is but Nebraska had 8 turnovers including 3 or 4 in the red zone.  Nebraska pretty much dominated but couldn't score.  On the other side Iowa State played their back up quarterback and running back so it was hard to get a good read on their offense.  I'm sure their starting quarterback will return this week.  I do think Iowa State's new coach is pretty solid.  Iowa State has been pretty competitive in their other Big 12 games but this weeks score against Nebraska is deceiving.

As far a TT vs A&M went, Potts threw 2 INT's early and that caused TT to be down 14. Potts eventually had to leave the game with a leg injury. (I think it was a leg injury...but he was injured.)

Sunday morning, I read thru the in-game blog at Double T Nation. I think the best blog for Tx Tech info is doubletnation.com. Anyway, Potts INT's were the early storyline.

They have another QB who everyone calls "Sticks" because he's about 6'2" and as heavy as a petite schoolgirl. Can't remember his damn name now...doesn't matter. From a gambling perspective, it's going to be tough to bet on a QB who's always injured because he doesn't have enough meet on his bones to survive a sack.

I guess the early INT's got Tech off their game. The defense wasn't stopping A&M, either...

Sonnabooma; I didn't see a couple of the teams on your list of best looking teams...I don't disagree with any of them. I didn't see any world-beaters on the field this week. No matter how bad the BCS teams look, Boise State & TCU won't both get invited to play in the big boy bowls. One will be on the outside looking in.

pags11; Thanks, Pags. I must admit, my style isn't set in stone yet. There's always something to tweak and change on the fly. I don't always know...exactly...what I'm doing.

brandisland:  Arnaud and the RB, Robinson, are probable according to collegeinjuryreport.com. ISU is competitive but I think they still need some help from the opponent...turnovers and INT's.
One of the things I liked about playing A&M this week is they hold onto the ball. The QB's TD:INT ratio is 17:3. That was the one stat that surprised me. In the pre-season, I wrote off Jerrod as an INT machine. Hopefully, he just stays consistent this week.

I may as well jump on the Cinci bandwagonl.  Still looking at A&M.  Going aginst you has not played out very well for me this year.  So if I am on the other side, I just won't bet.

The Northwestern offense is gimmicky and they'll somehow get close to 17 points. Northwestern pass defense should get beaten up by Daryll Clark.

Big number...usually I hate big numbers. Utah St has the #109 ranked rush defense...and Fresno has the #1 RB in the NCAA.

It's probably safer to bet the Fresno St team total...but then I saw that Fresno St actually gave up 21 points to San Jose St earlier in the year. Oh. OK, I'll take the over, then...

re Fresno.  Actually held SJSU to 14 until scrubs gave up 60 yard pass play on final play of game.  wasn't close.  that said, hill puts in scrubs late every game.  last week, new mex st.  had some luck stacking the line early.  but they could score against fresno.  fresno made some pass plays and finally the running game kicked in for the cover.  it was close.  this week fresno's at home.
