1-0 this week +1 U...Great win by UTEP.  Had UTEP +7.5, great win...Guess what I'm 48-48.  After a great Saturday, I'm thinking things don't change.  Looks like things are starting to go my way.  Good come back by UTEP here.  They should have been up a bunch early, then found themselves down 11 and came back to win the game.  Congrats UTEP good victory for the program.  Good call by Mike Price going for it on 4th down on the series before they scored the go ahead touchdown.

Hmmmm I hate betting against you during the week as you do a fairly decent job on these games BUT I locked and loaded FSU ML....Dude N.C might not score until the 4th quarter. I dont care if FSU is banged up on defense NC will struggle!!!! I.E. UNC struggling versus UCONN...Come on... GL though one of us will win...

Yeah I do especially on my big plays, I think during the week they have been perfect.  I might have to look back and check but I almost guarantee plays over 2 units during the week are undefeated.  But about this game...I have a feeling that Ponder kills Florida State tomorrow.  Now he has played extremely well so far this season, but I think tomorrow is going to be a different story.  I think he struggles in this game.  North Carolina has had offensive woes all season long your right, but even though it was Georgia Southern they still managed to put up 42 points and I think that will give the offense a confidence boost.  I don't know good luck tomorrow but I think Carolina wins this one in front of the home crowd..

on the nc play here ... obviously whodey if u are putting 3 units on them then they r prob a little more than a solid play an a must play  my only concern here is the fact that fsu is 12-1 su against nc last 13 games, fsu has played tougher schedule thus far , and im very curious to why you are so strong on nc?? please explain if u dont mind because i would rather go with you on this one and cash than back the horrible fsu squad right now.

 you really think fsu that in the tank.... i mean they have played some serious teams in mia, gtech and byu...unc has not proven anything...fsu gets up for these type of games...can they really lose 4 conference games in a row?? I see unc having a tough time finding the end zone

Whodey, Do you think that the pressure being applied to Bowden will be a factor here?  Not dogging your pick.  I have been following you for a while, just in the background.  I'm actually on some sort of roll or I problably would not be commenting, just trying to figure this game out.  To me, it looks like FS has the edge here???  I think Ponder is the better QB and Florida St. does have a faster defense....if they decide to show up...

I like the pick Whodey. I think that FSU might be in give up mode and even if your not fully in give up mode UNC will take advantage. Here's my deal though, I think I like the under more than picking a side for this game. Any thoughts?

Again I think FSU is in a bad spot personally.  I think they get out coached in this game.  I don't necessarily think UNC struggles to find the endzone.  I think they score more than people think in this game.  Keep in mind, this is only FSU's 3rd road game of the season.  They did dismantle BYU early in the season, but since then they have had tons of distractions.  I think these two teams are very evenly matched.  I do think that the line is pretty close to being dead on.  I think Ponder kills FSU in this game.  I think he just makes mistakes and I think he struggles to get FSU in the end zone.  Both teams have 12 days of rest.  Do you know who has the third ranked defense in the country?  North Carolina!  Do you know who has the 107th ranked defense?  Florida State!  Whats better to get your offensive woes off the ground then against a team who really struggles to stop teams.  They allow points and I think UNC shows enough offense, and enough defense to win this game.  Look for a defensive touchdown from UNC, also look for them to put a lot of pressure on Ponder.  I think they get to him several times.   UNC allows less than 3 yards a carry, now I know they haven't played many great offensive teams but I think they have enough to win this game.  Both teams are on the downfall I just think FSU's ship is sinking way faster.  UNC -2.5 seems like a fair and good bet.   I really compare this game to the FSU/South Florida matchup.  FSU was able to score on bad defense's but on a fairly good defense they really struggled and only managed 7 points.

TheFrij - 49 seems really high I agree.  So for that reason that really scares me.  I think its almost way to high, wouldn't you think it would be around 42 or so.  I'm telling you UNC's offense will be able to score in this game.  I don't see them struggling.

doliver517 - FSU just isn't that great of a football team in my opinion.  I take nothing away from a few performances they had.  When I looked at this game I really looked at the South Florida game.  Comparable team defensively for UNC.

Uconn34 - Like I mentioned before I don't think that UNC really struggles to find the end zone.  I think even if they get 3 or 4 field goals and a touchdown maybe two they win this game.  Personally I think FSU is in the tank and the ship is sinking along with Bowden.

excellent response....im just not sold on unc and its because they burnt me vs gtech now that i think about it and in that game they did play pretty good defense but their offense ugh.....i dont look at the ranks for defense because they played completely different schedules....outcoached is a great prediction......should be a good game...am i really gona bet the road team that is in the tank??
