Taking a look at everything surrounding this game I am noticing a few things. First, we have the heralded "weekday home underdog". Second, I have seen at a couple sites showing that nearly 80% of the public are on the Troy Trojans. Third, with the line opening at 3.5 and almost 80% of the public on Troy, the line has held steady at either 3.5 or 4.
With those factors aside, I think FAU gets it done tonight and wins this game. I have read articles reporting that FAU will get the anchor of their offensive line back for this game, center Nick Paris. I think this will help solve most of Rusty Smith's recent offensive woes as well as open up running lanes for the running backs. These Owls have been on the road for what seems like every week for the past year but they finally come home and in my opinion, they get their offense back on track and grab the conference win.
