ok now it alarms me that i figure FAU to be a 5 point favorite in this game and the line comes out as FAU +3... but im stickin with me analysis on this one.
last year FAU beat them at home 27-14 with 7 of mtsu points comming off a punt block. They outgained then by 200 yards with a 400 yards to 200 total yardage stat. They bring back 18 player from last year compared to 12 for mtsu. Also they bring back the best player and qb in the conference Rusty Smith.
Also i think FAU is being undervalued at this time in the year because i had them preseason the clearcut #1 team in the sun belt and mtsu as #6. The reason them being undervalued is because they are 1-3 on the year with losses AT TEXAS, AT MINNESOTA, and AT MICHIGAN STATE, with their win comming against uab. even with a good sun belt team... all three of those teams on the road and with them playing very well right now.
