Go Cubs. Just got the Cub's RL in for 2400. Going with Harden who has a proven track record and is looking for his first win on the big stage. Volstad has pitched well, but he really hasn't seen a loaded line-up like the cubs.

1.How many outs does a team have to get and score more runs than the o/ team in order to win said game?
2. Does team A win if they don't score as many runs as the team B?
3. Does the last out count?
4. Do closers have anything to do w/ who wins a baseball game?
After you've answered those questions, you'll realize, there was absolutely no luck in the CWS win last night. W/ Todd Jones as a closer, his squad definitely has to sweat til that 27th out is made.
Now...luck in baseball is when the winning run is on 2nd and they hit a routine grounder to the 2nd baseman and the ball takes an awful hop and bounces over the guy's head. That's LUCK in baseball.
...just my 2 cents....so many novice (less than 5 years) baseball bettors fail to give up the idea of "Well, I woulda been 5-2 last night if it weren't for 3 bullpens choking it up, so I was 2-5."

I would think any oddsmaker would say being down a run with two outs hitting a hr with a closer on the mound doesnt happen all that often. It might for todd jones, but if you expect a team to come back in the 9th on a given night it doesnt happen too often.
