win against the Red Sox on April 9. Dice-K is pitching well as of late, but I see the trip back home for the Tigers to be a very successful one. Look for the tigers to jump on Dice-K early, and look for a different Tigers lineup tonight than usual.

I look for an extremely nervous Scherzer tonight in Arizona.

I'm with you on Detroit and I like Philly but I'm not sure if I want to play it. GL anyways!
Thanks...I really like the Phillies tonight in this spot against Scherzer. There is a lot of talk about him, and maybe righftully so, but he has never started in an MLB game with that pressure. Throw on top of that a good hitting Phillies lineup and it could spell a short night for the youngster. I think there is a lot of value in this line.

I don't have anymore time for any write-ups, but I posted both of my 1.75 unit plays so you could get a feel of why I am on the those two games for more units. I really expect a good night, I like the card a lot, and lets another large winning streak going, its at 3 days now. Lots of winning days in the past 3 weeks, so lets keep that all going tonight!

hey herb, first time i've actually opened up one of your threads in mlb. really like the results. i know for some other sports you use systems for your picks.
is this a system u are using for baseball?
and also how did you do last season ?

First off I would like to say thanks. Secondly, I would say that I do not use any system for baseball. I know baseball extremely well and do extensive research for every game. Last year I did not post on covers, as you can see I am new here, Jan. of this year, but I did gross about 100 units in baseball. That is going to be the goal again this year and I feel extremely confident that I can reach that goal.
It is funny that you asked about systems...be sure to check out my thread in the football forum or on my wall because I have discovered an amazing system for the NFL that is going to help us win a lot of money this up coming year and beyond... Hope this all helps.

Yeah I hear you...I really want the Phillies play to go right because it is my biggest play of the evening with 1.75 units on it and with it being + money. GL with the rest of your plays, and we do have a nice dual in kansas city tonight!

You seem to be on with the BOS call as long as they can get out of the jam this inning...
But MAX S, is off to a rough start... I don't think he is quite ready to shut down hitters in the bigs just yet... he has a lot to work on and for a young guy to just come in and dominate is not such an easy thing.. He's given up a couple early runs.. and we'll see how he can respond.. you learn a lot about a young guy in these types of situations
