I was kind of lookin to fade O's today; because they're back home after road trip... long cold/wet/miserable yesterday (all day); and, the getting laid back home factor. 
 
Are they resilient young team? Look what happened to the hot Angels returning from their roady and Sunday nighter at Det... (14-2 loss to the A's)
 
I'm gonna take a closer look... G'luck today Aussie!!!!

I think the other day you said you hit about 65% of your picks, is that right?  Is that what you hit last year in MLB?  I 'm looking for someone to tail and you seem to be consistent.  Thanks for the picks!

But gotta play "devil's advocate" on this one....
 
Hamel is pitching tons better than last year...first start this year was at Yankee Stadium, not an easy assignment...did not get any support and was not terrible. His last 3 starts were all "quality starts" and he is showing far more control this year K's to BB's than last year.
 
He is facing a kid (Olsen) that showed nothing last year to keep him in the majors and is making his first start of the year on 4/29. The only plus is that he, probably, did not travel with the team and has been home working out and waiting to get a start.

OPC, really appreciate your input and insight no doubt.
My reasoning however, was because of the line that was set by the books; When it first opened and how it's been moving. Also I look  at Hamel and feel that his odds are inflated somehow, due to his stellar performance against Halladay and Bonser!! Olsen on the other hand is underrated, although he struggled last year. And lastly I feel too too much is being made of the O's 11innings, rain, sitting around, travel etc... etc....
I am feeling a bit on edge now, as you and another very good capper whom I respect alot have cautioned me against this pick. BUT it's too late now as I've locked it in already. Best of luck and best wishes with your card tonight brother

I have a 30-22 record...missing one game, the suspended one the other night.....

Course I do betdermo! This has been my full time job for the last 5-6 yrs mate.  Not always EASY, but on top of the books every year! (not gonna type up a resume here) but the day I drop below 58% I quit this as full time, and we'll go back to my old work.  I hit around mid 60's percentage wise. Between mlb, nba, tennis, nfl and Australian sports I am around 67-68%.  (I find it pathetic to blow my own horn, but since you asked!)
 
Let's get back to these 4 Plays today, The Birds are looking strong so far, and the first two NBA plays are looking solid....
But NEVER EVER, count a bet Won or Lost until the final Whistle!

Wow Aussieguy.  Do you play every game for 1 unit?  I noticed sometimes you play 2 units and other times 4 units.  Are all your plays usually for 1 unit?


Looking for someone to tail.  NO -6 burned me .


What sport is your strongest?  I only watch NBA NCAAB , NCAAF and MLB.  Have no clue about rugby. 

Wow you hit over 58 percent?  in 5-6 years full time?  Going to start following you tomororow man.

It varies. In tennis for eg. I usually play the HEAVY DOGS, therefore I don't play more than 1-2 Units. If at pickem and I am confident I play 3-4 Units!
NBA most of the time I play 3Unit bets. During the regular season I did throw a few 5Units bet which I won them ALL (I think! ...quite sure I won actually) But never played NBA 1 Unit. Most of the time 3, rarely 2 and very rarely 5!
MLB much like NBA, mostly 3Units, apart from yesterday where I played the Yankees for 4Units and won.
Strongest sport? NBA regular season this last year has been extremely profitable (playoffs not so great!), College Hoops Hopeless (around 51-52% but losing the juice, hence going in the red!), MLB  around 60% over the last 3-4years. Tennis much like NBA extremely profitable!
 
Just be aware that like every good capper, I will have losing and winning streaks. Luckily my winning ones are alot longer than the losing streaks. You have to be DISCIPLINED, I don't ever parlay, I don't chase, I don't play too many games. I will take the LOSS just as "happily" as I would take the WINNING bet! (you know what I mean)  ....
Sorry for the loooooong spiel...
Let's hope the O's can hang on for a sweet Win here today....As I said before too much was being made of some trivial issues with Baltimore. But anyhow, let's not count them chooks before they actually hatch ......
