That's at least 4 given up by him this year I know of. . .  once against the Cubs, and 3 times against the Reds. . .

The awesome thing about it is that I bet on the Reds and I have Gagne on my fantasy team. I am in a lose-lose situation........Gagne had been pitching good too

Yea but this was his 4th game in 4 days.....He should not have been out there. Kid had been pitching awesome and his confidence is shot again........I just wish the Red Sox would not have wasted time on him last year...I was throwing stuff at the TV every time Tito brought him, Kyle Snyder, and Tavarez in last year

papi this guy gets 2 saves and everyone thinks he;s ok, he is done! no more hgh, are troubles, he is done, he will save 2 or 3 and blow one, that doesnt cut it.

Gagne is the reason sportsbooks will have 1st 8 innings bets by the all-star break

Obviously Im a Brewer fan so I have to chime in here. I was not and am still not thrilled about the Gagne signing. In his defense he has Saved saved 5 straight games in 7 days before blowing this one.

But the Brewers made this move a risk reward type thing. We already signed Riske, Torres and Mota. All of who have expirence in the closer role, so there are other options if/when the Gagne expirement comes to an end. The Brewers are a small market team and have young guys who are going to Demand alot of money. So this group of guys only has a window of 2-3 years. They gave him alot of money, but its only for one season. So I can see what management was thinking

Riske probably has the least amount of experience, but I vote for him as the brewers closer.

I never bet on Brewer games except when the Brewers are +money vs a lefty. But I totally would have bet on the Reds today. Harrang on the mound who has been alittle shaky but still a good pitcher, and Yovani Gallardo making his first start of the season. Money would have been on the Reds.

Yeah I agree. Im still not ready to give up on Gagne (although his leash is getting shorter). But I could see the closer job being Riske and Shouse Platoon type thing

gagne has blown  3  saves in 9 chances and given up 4 hr in 9 innings   thats not good, thats terrible and thats right in line with what he did last year, he wont change
