Look pretty good this year.     If the pitching holds up, they might have a chance this year.   
 
 
Braun is just picking up where he left off last season.    Guy is an incredible hitter.

They also took 2 of 3 from the Cubs at Wrigley.
 
 
 
I even heard Ron Santo say on the Cubs broadcast today that
 
"If the Brewers get out to the early lead in the division like they had last year,   they won't get caught this year."   
 
 
That guy lives and dies Cubs so I thought that was an interesting statement from him.

Two out of three in Chicago aint bad either. Sheets 15 scoreless innings to start the season. Brewers playing small ball. If they didnt hit homeruns they didnt win games. This year they are moving runners over. And coming up with timely hits. Dangerous team if they can stay healthy. 4 and 0 in games when i see them this year!!

I would not drink that kool-aid just yet.  Have you seen their Defense at all?  Horrible.  They don't have a good bullpen either.  They can mash with the best of them but I don't think they can beat the top tier NL teams imo.

Brewers Defense has improved 10 fold from last season. 2 errors in 6 games so far.

Point of the poster is that Ron Santo is the biggest homer ever. If he says something good about another team in the NL Central there has to be some truth to it.

I'm not saying they can't win the division, but don't get too excited about a 5-1 start and sweeping the worst team in the MLB. I personally think the Cubs will win the division, but the Brewers, Reds and Cards will be right there and could easily take it. Still lots of ball to be played.

Disclaimer ... CUBS fan here. This is the worst division in bball. I am pretty sure you can rule out the bucs but toss up after that.

The brewers started hot last year and fell apart.   Will come down to the brewers, cubs, and cardinals(5-1 now)  Also. The bucs are better than the Reds.

I don't think it's out of line to say we have a world series contender here.  Colorado got there last year I believe.

I can't wait until you throw them under the bus like you did last year.  I think it was around late July I believe.  Stick with you teams man throught the shit times and the good ones.

Hell no man.    I only like them when they are playing good.  

All I'm saying is that thru these first 6 games they look pretty solid.

They have a series against the Mets next week in New York.    Gonna be interesting to see what happens.

Yea they added Kendall and Cameron, but they still have to play Braun.  I saw him against the cubs and he looked terrible.  Bill Hall at third is better than in CF, but he is not that good.  Kendall has a puss arm that can't get anyone out, but is better than Estrada.  Do I feel they have better defense?  Yes.  Do I think they have a good defense?  No. 

All I was saying is Ron Santo is an idiot and doesn't bring anything to the table when it comes to baseball analysis.  Yea he is a homer but that doesn't mean he has any useful knowledge about baseball.  He is a novelty act that is all he is.

Just so u know I am a sox fan and I hope they beat the cubs.

It's a weak division. The Brewers certainly have enough offense to win the division. Braun and Fielder are beasts. And COMBINED they don't make a million a year. I think eventually the bullpen will sink the BrewCrew.

Well they have the help of playing in the NL. I would put the Mets, Braves, Cubs, Dodgers, D-Backs and Padres ahead of them at this point, but we'll see how things go. The Mets are really the only contender from the NL to possibly WIN the World Series in my opinion. I don't think any other team in the NL would even make the playoffs in the AL.
