This is a petition for Hoffmann to retire while he is somewhat still well known for his all time saves not for his blown saves.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;As a Padre fan i respect him and what he has done but he seems to be out of gas.... its time to think about or just retire.

The guy has been shit since he blew the save in the all star game a couple years ago. I never could figure out what was so great about his stuff anyways. It just looks like very slow shit with very little movement.

I live in SD and yes...Hoffman should call it quits. When his fastball tops out at 85/86mph and you have hitters just sitting on that change up you're asking for trouble. Time to get Heath Bell in there to start shutting down games.

yeah no shit, i wrote him off when he blew that Allstar game, and that was at least 2 years ago. What was it a Michael Young triple too!! Didn&#x27;t he blow two to the rox last year in the last 2 games to let them into the playoffs. I can&#x27;t believe SD has stuck with him
